GMB Just dropped from 3 to 7th - wtf ??

I am a little confused here. I have been bouncing between 2 and 3 for my main keyoword in the local pack.

I have been building citations for the past few days, basically all the yext citations.

I was 3rd earlier today and after the new citations, i have dropped to 7th. WTF ?

Any ideas ?

Update - I think it's a Google dance.

I am back to 3rd position. However, I am dancing around between 7th position, 5th postion, 4th position and now back to 3rd position. Very wierd.

It depends on your location and can also depends if your browser history.

Are you checking from same location with Incognito mode?

This is just a normal google dance, leave it for a few days and it will stabilize on one position.

Personally I think there's something wrong with the March update. I don't know. Can you tell what's wrong?

There's always fluctuations in your ranking dw if it jumps.

It keeps fluctuating try adding new post and reviews it will come back.

add some post and tell your clients to write some reviews. rankings usually fluctuates don't worry!

adding into you can still ask your friends to like some good reviews this also helps bring back lost ranking once i changed my address and i was no where till 6 weeks it happens gmb rankings keep fluctuating you should focus on providing quality content to your audience.
