Link Building is not effective as people think

So recently I have been ranking a few of my sites with medium competition keywords to the first page of Google, and the way I'm doing it is pretty simple.

Basically what I'm doing is driving large volumes of quality traffic to my sites. After just 2 weeks of doing this, I am now getting a large volume of organic traffic and making sales. For the investment I have made 10 times my money back. I plan on targeting more keywords, and rinse and repeat.

Traffic is key to ranking. You can spend months and months doing SEO and hope to rank and not get slapped by Google, or you can stay under Googles Radar and just drive traffic.

If you search Google for "*********************" that's where I get my traffic for all my sites. I usually target 6 keywords every 2 weeks and once I get them to page 1, 1 target 6 more. I buy 1 keyword targeted domain for the 6 keywords. All 6 keywords have the target url keyword in it.

For example my domain is - bestfishfood,c0m target url focused on "fish food"

Keyword examples I drive traffic to would be - cheap fish food, organic fish food, fish food for gold fish

You get the idea. Of course you want the search volume to be medium. If you try this and you aren't getting on page 1, you are using a keyword that is way too tough to rank.. Change your keyword.

You've been spamming this message all over the boards, you're not fooling anyone.

The quality of a page isn't a science. Google's measure is strongly influenced by user behaviour. IE bounce rate and next click.

If you have lots of great back links is only going to give you a better chance of being shown in the top 10 in the first place.
After that bad user behaviour stats are going to push you off the page.

find a keyword with keyword difficulty below than 20 with more than 1mil search every month.. use kwfinder okay
buy a domain name that has your keyword on it. start putting a content for the first month. start building links on second months.. on third or 4th month you can see your website on first page of google search
im talking with experiences.. no bullshit or selling anything.. and i keep scaling this up

In my opinion it's still better to implement link building. Nowadays there are soo many different aspects and things to go through when building a competitive niche website. All your actions and tasks must be planned accordingly for the work day.

More than 1 million search? Are you high or just want to increase post count?

if you want to rank your site, you build the links yourself or buy them.. simple as that. You can write awesome content all day long and you will not rank shit unless your kw is 10 MS with 0 comp or your readers will start linking to your site (very slow and unlikely for average affiliate site).

You can still rank mini sites (homepage article and several other filler pages) for keywords that are not too tough in terms of competition.. Good luck doing that without the links. I dont believe in content is king approach

Sure buddy please rank for the term "porn" or "real state" with only content.... I will wait.
hahaha
I'm new to SEO and my plan is to rank for real estate terms with content only !! sounds like i could be in trouble haha

You ranked 1 for one million search. You need to be realistic for once.
first page

do you think it is difficult to rank a website when you have keyword difficulty less than 20? you can do it in a month with a good backlinks.. what is so unrealistic about it

I could be totally wrong but it could be due to the niche too?

Some niches are massive so even keywords not popular get tonnes of traffic.

I agree with your opinion.
For me it really looks like this.

As at today, links are still very relevant. I did some shits in the past to test how important backlink is. I used sports related anchor in just couple of links and pointed it to the homepage of a tech site and voila, I ranked for sports terms without relevant content.

I think google work on correlation to understand websites and organize them, and there are forms of categorization in which G can't rely on your website alone.

Links from other sites would help them understand where you're popular, what they discuss around your site and many more, so, they will always count on backlinks to have good judge of websites.

Everywhere I go, people are so adamant that links are everything.

Links aren't everything. They're something like 20% of everything.

1. Content.
2. On-Page SEO.
3. Social media management.
4. Link building.
5. Link indexing.

Dude, it's all about the links, trust me! I remember covering something exclusive on my (pretty new) website that earned a lot of backlinks from authority sites, the ranking of the article in the SERPS quickly jumped from nowhere to the first fuckin page -- and I'm not talking about some low competition shitty keyword, it's a keyword that used to receive around 100K searches a month back in the day.

yes content is king. what would many website has quality content thats where other factors comes. Link building is one of the main. Search engine using links as signal
