Hello!

My name is VexelBae.
During the day I'm a marketing/seo consultant for local e-commerce companies located in Los Angeles. I've always come across this website but never actually took the leap to join the community.

After my proposed "9-5" contracts, I'm also a graphic designer and print shop owner serving primarily the automotive/import tuner culture.

I look forward to becoming a regular here! :alien:

Holy chit. You are a proper professional sir. Good to see you here sir. Welcome.
I am a long time BHW lurker myself.
So, how is ecommere consulting scene in LA?

Could you also do consulting for startups?

:anyway: Thank you good sir for the warm welcome lord sir Harry sir, indeed.
The e-commerce consulting scene in LA is heavily saturated, but just like any other form of social marketing position. There are a lot of people that are legitimate, a couple grey hats for larger companies, and more than appreciated "fakes" :(

Consulting for startups is a completely different operation in itself. I'd have to first understand the clients needs and how they feel for the product they're selling -- take that, and penetrate the market with their idea. But sometimes they realize they misinterpreted their brand and we'd have to go back to square 1.

Pre-established companies are just more about damage control and quality improvements :)

Thank you.
Would it be possible to be connected with you on LinkedIn?
I will PM you my id if it's okay with you and allowed here.

@MisterF Is it allowed?

Welcome mate. What are you hoping to gain from the forum? :)
Thanks!

1. to get more of an edge against my competition in my area in regards to finding consulting work.
2. to get my own print shop business ranked higher in search results "by any means necessary"

I also just like to read about Black Hat-type information; because doing things through "honest hard work" is just another way to say you do things without thinking of ways on how to improve.

Thank you.

Oh sure!

I'm still reading up on the rules for newbies. I remember seeing something about not being able to send pms until after a few dozen posts or so, so I'm not sure if I can accept or reply yet.

FYI,

I just found the "Themes" selection at the bottom of the website.
The white version looks so much more friendlier to onlookers who pass by the computer screen.

If someone could shine some light on a question it'd be greatly appreciated.

Regarding Black Hat SEO Tools -- how many of you have actually purchased a program or pay a subscription fee for the program? Is the program worth it, or do you prefer to use free programs?

Welcome. Just curious, is there a reason why you're only doing business in LA?

paid for a lot of tools, many of them have been very effective for me. here and there some experiences that werent positive. So yes you can find dimes here, double check the vendor, and the reviews, and run a trial if possible

I offer select consulting services over the internet to various parts of the US, but I find it more effective if I provide services in person. That way I can fully understand what a client needs and see what their actual capabilities are. People tend to try to build themselves up to something they wish to see (like my profile picture) when they're on the internet, and it creates unnecessary unrealistic expectations of results which ends up being an epic waste of time and resources on both ends!

Not to mention, I have my own business to run from 5:01pm to 8:59am ;)
