Finding viral content is going to be much easier if you use a tool to find it for you, instead of manually going around the net and and trying to look for it that way.

Just use one where you can search for a keyword and it will pull in viral topics related to that keyword like how many social shares across all different social media platforms.

If you have a list of accounts in your niche, you can use a tool I created, Vurku (thread) that hopefully makes it pretty easy to find the best content. You just put in a username, get their back posts, then you can sort by likes, comments, etc. Let me know if that's what you're looking for! It also has a hashtag searching feature, but that's currently being worked on.

What if I don't ? What if I wanted to search hashtags and get the best posts off it?

That's the part that's in progress. Right now you can search hashtags and get the top posts Instagram usually returns and then next 100 posts. But working to increase those limits so it can be used as a more general exploration tool. It might work as-is though to fit some of your needs. Check it out and let me know what specifically would be helpful for you and I can make note of it as I build out the hashtag search feature.
