Hiding the ip is just another defense mechanism against attackers.

for dmca they can contact the domain registrar and block the site domain.

You would need an offshore server that acts as a reverse proxy to hide your main server.

It won't protect you from DMCA anyway you want a proxy node just use Cloudflare
