How would you market this?

Hey so the friend of mine is organizing holiday trips, but its a small local firm that has customers mostly from recommendations; they never put ads anywhere.

Now they are looking to organise a trip to Portugal, and they don't have enough clients this year (last few years they organised the same trip and had 50 customers - full bus, and that's what they want this year too).

How would you guys market this venue, having low marketing budget? I was thinking about facebook ads / instagram ads, but it's very easy to burn entire budget very quick.

Google ads are very competitive for holiday trips...

How would you do it with like $500-1000 ?

They already have landing page.

Have you tried offering incentives for your existing clients to recommend to others? e.g offering a giveaway for a free holiday and having all of them post on their Instagram/Facebook story/feed etc and tagging. Or just do small PPC campaigns for testing and then go ahead with a larger budget once you see what's working.

Go to places with lots of senior citizens and hand out flyers.

Flyers might be the best way. Since you want children with parents. Go to a near by school or something and hand out those flyers to parents who come pick up children. Also give them out to children. They would never say no

A relative of mine had a travel agency and I'd help them sell a senior citizen sea cruise. I could fill all 60 spots in a day. I'd hand flyers to specific friends who went to church, yoga and so on and I'd ask them to give the flyers to their parents / grandparents. Phone calls followed same day.

This. Word of mouth is something you can do on a very low budget, assuming your margins are high enough.
