Hi BHW,

If you are a numbers person and want to find a guaranteed way to make money online with residual income some days, look into the Quora Partner Program.

Here is proof that it is possible to make money on it. But keep in mind it takes a lot of work and the more people that know about, the harder it will be to come up with valuable questions.

But you don't have to spend a single penny to grow an audience or anything. Quora already has an audience.

You just need a system to ask LOTS of questions that have not yet been asked.

It would be great to know how many questions the top earners have, and what alternative methods they are using to get more traffic though.

But with 2500 questions, I have made >$330 so far. Estimate how much time that will take you and you can probably get around that amount.

What is great is I am pretty confident I will continue to make money at least until my questions expire at the end of 1 year from the asking of the question.

On average each question has brought in about $0.13 and although it sounds like an easy task, if you do it manually and don't have some bot doing work for you (which probably won't be effective), some questions take a while to think up.

If you don't have any web design skills, or writing skills, or don't feel like selling any SEO or whatever, you can probably do this full time and get some decent cash, but you want to consider the full year lifetime value of a question, not just what you may or may not make the day of.

Furthermore, I think one year is kind of a rip off by Quora considering the question stays in perpetuity and continues to earn them a lot.

Quora is almost every where in search results, even for stupid keywords too. I started to hate that site. People are copying sites articles and posting them as answer. Google who says we dont allow such content, ranking them really high. F**k u Google.

Its not the age. They in fact does NOT invite the most active writers, because.. whats the point? Those people are active anyway. I have 3-4 years old account with thousands of answers.. and I am active there daily. No invite whatsoever. Accounts used for few spam fake questions and answers however got the invites. Its used by Quora to reactivate inactive users...

It’s a mix of your existing audience, quality of the question, and luck - with “luck” and “existing audience” heavily weighted.

Highly popular users are going to have a better chance of success than not-so-popular users by virtue of reaching more engaged people without having to resort to constantly managing A2As.

However, not even the most popular users will know for sure whether one of their questions will pop-off and attract the kind of audience that pulls in ridiculous ad revenue. Even if more people see their question, it’s impressions on answers that results in revenue; and even with a baked-in audience, it’s entirely possible that even a good question won’t pull in the kinds of answers that subsequently result in wide distribution.

Now, power users can tip the scales further in their favor by answering their own question and hoping that further boosts the question’s audience; but even then, they might not get lasting success.

Still, there’s a very long tail of people on the Program who’re in your position. Heck, many more would be happy to be able to pull in $100 per month.

Interesting - Being in Euros, are you on a "european" domain of Quora such as quora.co.uk or whatever? Maybe it's different.

Or if you could provide any tips that would be nice too.
