Hi All,
I doubled the average monthly views on my website this past month of April. I attribute it to some of the tactics I used this past week.
Note: I don't know what specifically I did Apr-Jun 2018 to get those views. I remember paying for a bunch of ads and had a ton of Instagram activity, and was experimenting with Backlinks, but it all flattened out at between 60 to < 100 views when I stopped working on my website actively.
With that said, to double from sub-100 views to 201 (before April even ended), here are some of the things I think were involved.
1) Found some safe backlinks and spent around $20 on Fiverr - I am guessing at least a couple views came from the people providing the service.
2) Wrote about 20 articles - 13 reviews about books I've read, and 7 general articles with page additions.
3) Uploaded all of the new posts and pages, + about 5 reuploads of past pages and posts to OnlyWire which I have a membership to, and connects to about 10-12 social media platforms.
4) Invited all my friends to my Facebook page. I think about 70% traffic came from Facebook. But I don't know if Friends are really organic traffic, as opposed to just being lucky with having grown a small network. This isn't something that can really be repeated either, so I estimate that next month will result in a drop, unless I can keep up with my posts, but I'm running out of books to review - Plus May will be a busy month for me.
5) I have some sales activity on my Affiliate products (Amazon) but it is hard to determine if it is from my website or from other marketing activities.
6) Also shared maybe 10-15 articles between LinkedIn and Twitter.
Difficult for me to determine how much traffic is from Onlywire too, although I do find some "organic Google searches" now. Can't figure out what the search term is.
Happy marketing
