Has anyone recently tried this and with what result?

I don't want to risk one of my sites, pointing PBN links directly to it.

Don't know how is the situation with buffers scheme nowadays? worth trying or the power will be diluted to nothing?

Point PBN To Web 2.0 Also Works Great !

Yes PBN posts can be used on buffer web 2.0 sites to pass power to your money site

I think that way you will only bump.....your buffer web 2.0s without that much result. People linking to web 2.0 only to make them in index and have some weight. I would say it's even somewhat fishy to have good links pointing to web 2.0. You can place some your affiliate product links directly at web 2.0 and try though;)

its safer since you can just take them off if anything goes wrong. It does take a bit longer for results to kick in though

It is mandatory place links (SENuke / rankerx / PBN / what you want) to buffer sites.
Not with the goal to index them, but to make them strong (and pass link juice).

the question is - how much the PBN power will be diluted after passing via buffers?

Why don't you just learn how to build PBN properly, so you don't have to worry google will catch them?

If you are using some popular PBN service, sooner or later the big G will find that out. That's why I would suggest you to search for virgin pbn networks which is well maintained. Getting some of those PBN links will not harm your money site.

Difficult to say how much, the percentage, the exact number (is it possible to say?) how it will be diluted. It'll be.
But point PBN links to buffer sites have a double advantage:
- Make your buffer sites more powerful (and help to index them)
- avoid the possibility to get a penalty from G if the network will be discovered (because don't link directly to money site).
Concept is simple: if your buffer site has 0 backlinks its power is low.
Low because you have a site with 0 backlinks (aka unknown / low quality content site) that link to your money site.
The same buffer site with 100 backlinks is another story (aka "well known" / "high quality content" site).

I tried this last year. I purchased a around 150 pbn links from sellers, pointed them to 10 web2 buffers, then to my money site. I did not see any improvement. Either they were crap pbn links, or it just didn't work for me.

Works.

However, I would rather power up niche edits and guest posts.

If buying PBN links, then yeah, use a buffer.
If this is your own private network, then go direct.

IF PBN is your money site, what is the diffrent IF YOU POINTING WEB2.0 BUFFER TO YOUR MONEY SITE?

its just the same, dont be silly, thats only people who want to sell their website service.

each people has diffrent thinking

The main advantage is that you can control anchors and links. PBN services don't let you edit posts later but you can edit your own Web 2.0s. As far as safety is concerned, nothing is safe in Black hat SEO. You need to reap benefits as long as something is working.

in my experience, most of the power gets diluted. Not worth it. ive done this many many times. it just doesnt transfer power very well like you would think. some people say they get good results. i have never ever gotten rankings boost worth mentioning.

save your money
