I guess there's no YT forum on here.

So I guess I've learned that YT FB groups JUMP to conclusions before asking questions.

They assume EVERYONE who wants to have a channel & showcase someone else's video while talking about it or rip a video is scamming someone else. <sigh>

My question just got deleted from one FB group & the other group wanted to KNOW if I asked permission from the channel.

So, I guess I have to turn to you guys LOL

There's tons of music on YT even uploaded by the artists themselves.

I listen to New Age music when I sleep & I do NOT want commercials playing while I'm trying to sleep which is why I can't make a playlist of them, plus the volume may be too high/low.

I use Groove to listen to my music.

I found a site that rips the videos into MP3's, but now it's not working & the next site also didn't work.

Does anyone have a free site/software that does NOT give us viruses/trojans?

I have software that rips them into MP4, but not MP3.

Thanks

For grabbing YT videos, I use Firefox with the Video DownloadHelper plugin. You can save the video to pretty much any format, and it's easy-peasy to use. :)

Any quick and free ways to amend videos so that they pass copyright notice?

It wanted me to DL this companion software which I did & now it wants money :(

You need to use Firefox. Chrome requires a premium version, and they won't allow you to DL from youtube because YT is owned by Google. :p

If you're on Android, Videoder is the ultimate tool. If not, it can't be that no online tool work for this purpose. If they don't for a moment, there was a Youtube update and they need to catch up. Just search Google for "youtube to mp3", you'll find something for sure. I already found this: https://ytmp3.cc and there are countless others, activate your adblocker and you're good to go.

just put "pp" in front of youtube name

example
Code:
www.youtubepp.com/watch?v=qQgXhFH5AAE

Guys, if you want Youtube Premium for free - Youtube Vanced.
No ads, you can use background play and much more.
Check it out. Thank me later ;)

Sorry for the delay, I had to wait until I had a friend help me.

While I was able to rip the video to MP4, it didn't convert it to MP3 & so I had to use one of the links below.

I use Sound Forge to save audio tracks from video. It's possible to download videos via free services.
I think free Audacity can extract audio as well.

Yeh, I haven't even started learning Audacity yet. I need to b/c of recording stuff.

But thanks :)

Thanks to everyone else for their links.

Some worked better than others.

I have a 3 hour meditation song that I can't convert otherwise I have to pay :(

I'll figure it out I hope. LOL

Have a good one.
