and what about repinning and shit ? do you do that with the images ?
 
Pinterest was and still one of the best social media to drive traffic, and the good thing about is that it's not saturated such as other plateforms.

In your post you didn't talked about what you want, either getting followers or just driving traffic. Anyway here is the methods I used before wkth Pinterest to get traffic:
  • I optimise my account to rank for long tail keywords as I consider Pinterest as a great Parasite plateform
  • I use the F/U method
  • I re-pin
  • I make more accounts to re-pin my main account posts
  • I buy or exchange broad invite and post on them
 
Find Board, follow board, folllow board's owner and ask them to contribute in it. If they allow you will succeed in a month.

Yes you are right...but;):D....repins from "bigger" accounts matter more for Pinterest than from "smaller" ones. It doesn't matter so much like with Instagram (we all know that likes from bigger accounts have a really big impact for Instagram post) and you can still go viral on Pinterest repinning from small accounts with 0 followers.

It will be perfect if you will do repping from bigger account but first if you want to have big accounts you have to do f/u;). And it's not so easy to gain new followers doing this by bot because there are so many dead accounts on Pinterest.

I only grow my main accounts because it gives more credibility to them and Pinterest just "looooove" bigger accounts. I'm doing this manually, following/unfollowing only big accounts (celebrities, bloggers, famous brands etc) from my niche (100 per day). This gives me the quickest results when it comes to a number of followers (sometimes even 30-50 new followers per day, and I think it is a good result when it comes to Pinterest). Of course, some of these followers are botted accounts but still, it counts :D

I created a Pinterest account about a month ago with 0 about this social media. I noticed that it doesn't matter that much if you have followers or not. I'm posting pictures and some of them get more than 10k+ views while I have only ~500 followers. (and it is not repinned by anyone)
so the follow/unfollow method isn't working like on other social media networks. also, about 70 to 80 percent of Pinterest users are women (or at least I'm getting 75% of clicks from women, and pictures in "women niches" are getting MUCH better traffic.
