How to deal with Twitter retweet?

I hear from somewhere that I can retweet my own to get more engage rate. But I have no idea about how many times I can do it, is it helpful? Please help me to sort it.

You can only retweet a tweet once.
You could technically undo a retweet and retweet it again (by clicking on the retweet icon twice). I do not have any conclusive evidence that this is beneficial and am not certain that retweeting multiple times is what the Twitter team had intended for that feature.

You can retweet and unretweet a tweet as many times as you want, but after the first couple retweets it you'll seem pretty spammy. Some big companies retweet their own tweets a day after almost like a bump so it reaches a different audience.

Thank for your advice. I just look around for more details and I see maybe I have to twist this feature a bit. More content would be preferred than shout out by myself many times.

Another thing you can consider doing is quote tweeting the same post over and over again. It counts as "new" content and you can do that as many times as you want. Again, you don't want to look spammy though.

I believe once is enough. And you probably can’t do any more than that, anyway, like you couldn’t like the same post twice. As far as Twitter goes, you should really try to avoid posting the same thing over and over again anyway. Keep your content interesting and relevant or you won’t get any engagement at all.
