trying to get an inactive instagram name

Hello dear community,

i've been trying to get my hands on this one instagram name where the account seems super inactive, even tried the "this person is using my identity" (with sending a photo of me + my ID/Passport) but it didn't work. I don't wanna give up on this so I was wondering if you, the community, maybe got a tip for me or can help me in any way.

Sometimes I see these services "100% name clean up from inactive accounts" or similar, is that a scam or could there actually exist a method?

I've only heard of people getting inactive usernames because of owning a registered trademark

uhm no not really? if it's an old 2010 account(which the last and only post is from) then I just want the name, I mean, I dont get it why instagram just cant clean it up.

Log into instagram.com from a mobile browser or computer. You can't temporarily disable your account from within the Instagram app. Tap or click in the top right and then select Edit Profile. Scroll down, then tap or click Temporarily disable myaccount in the bottom right.

Till IG implements the cleaning up feature, you're trying to hack the username which is the same IMO

Only way you can really obtain an inactive name on IG is to obviously know someone that works at Facebook or to have the name trademarked and request it to be given to you since you legally own the name.
