Need Help: $650 worth Crypto stolen from my Coinbase account

Hi All,

I was off from internet marketing since 5 months so I didn't care about changing my Coinbase password every month like I used to do before.
However my CB account was 2 step secured for login and as well as out going transactions but someone stole all of my coins this Sunday without my knowledge.
I wrote to CB support but I didn't get any response yet. Coinbase security sucks!!

Has anybody faced this situation?
Is there anything I can do to get my Coins back?

Advice to all CB users: Secure your Cryptocurrencies in the best possible way or you may lose everything. There are begging hackers out there . They left me with nothing but 81 cents

You can't brute force 2FA (it's time limited). It could be just a phishing page attack.

It's possible in theory, but thinking about it I don't think CB are incompetent enough to let something like this happen.

YES, I had 2FA on for both login and outgoing transactions.
Every time I logged in to my CB account from new PC I used get "give access" permission mail to my email account, followed by 6 digit code from Authy app(Secured by iPhone).
Maybe hacker had access to my mail id(Gmail, even this was 2-step secured by SMS code through Phone).

2FA is not reliable at all.
I have another hacking incident which got through google 2 FA app.
Last October, $132 was stolen from my Skrill, it was secured by PIN + 2FA.

Coming my phone:
I use iPhone 6s which is highly secure and it was with me when hackers stole my money. So the problem is with weak 2FA security.

Better be careful guys.

I under stand what you r going thru mate but i hv been thru a similar and much bigger shock whn Mt Gox robbed me of all my BTC whn suddenly they shut down on Feb 7th 2014. Only if i had kept them in a personal wallet n not in my trading account i wouldnt hv lost on a fortune. Those days it was trading at 1200$ compared to when i had purchased them at 400$ some months back. But one fraudulent hack as proclaimed by these theives and many ppl lost so much of their hard earned bucks!.So pal its alwyz better to keep them safe in your own personal wallet rather than these exchanges. You never know one day you wake up n see u r not able to log in and its hacked!!

Yes you can know what code will be the next, all 2FA have a unique algorithm if you can find that you can know the next code for 2FA

Id wager you got some malware and compromised your OS. Someone must have either root access to your machine or it was a man in the Middle attack. Being hacked twice there seems to be a pattern here.

Did you contact Coinbase about this beach? Its pointless discussing 2FA when you can ask CB for login logs and Transaction ledgers.

Sorry man this not the first time I'm hearing about coinbase security flop .

I have 2FA enabled looks like I will have to find some other ways as well..thanks for sharing nd sorry u loose ur money.
