I used to know a guy that sold second hand MRI machines, and made easy $100 grand per sale.
He lived in a very rich country where these machines depreciate quickly. He would go to corrupt countries and offer hospital managers a cut to buy his machines. From what I heard from him "medical equipment industry" is one of the most corrupt around the globe.
If you don't know anyone inside I can imagine it'll be pretty hard to get in as selling such machines requires a lot of trust.

Yeah, the profits in there are insane! I know guys that can get me brand new machines from new hospitals that never opened, gotta love 3rd world countries that dont know how to utilize money.
Would it be that profitable to buy new machines and resell them?

I am from India and have a friend who works in call center, They sell Medical equipment to the insured USA senior citizens. I dont know how that works but profit are enough to retire.

I'd say there is a ton of money selling used stuff in general.
Medical stuff idk unless you're selling them to a Dentist, Family Clinic etc.
I would assume anything funded by the Government is new equiptment.
