Charging Credit Cards Yourself?

What methods would allow me to create a simple client account, then have me manually add their credit card to the account and send me the money myself?

For example -

Client enters/gives card information to me
I enter their information on a platform
I send that money to my own account

You can do that with services such as stripe and sage pay. I think there are probably some compliance issues that you'd have to be aware of when doing that. Its like taking card payment over the phone essentially. Unless you are storing the card details in the interim, in which case there would be even more potential concerns in terms of data privacy.

No, you use their card details, use your PP account to process the payment and do as you would a telephone payment, so buyer not present, type scenario.

How did you let your customers pay? I'm currently setting up a 'fake' store in Shopify and let my customers pay for something else via Stripe via my Shopify store and then just deliver the goods somewhere else.

You can do it untill someone notices it from paypal or stripe then you will get banned it's against TOS. They have to enter the credit card not you.

Eh, seems pretty weird to “allow” it but then ban the person. I signed up for PayPal Here and it shows you can manually key in cards
