Does URL Shortening reduce your inbox rate?

I have noticed when i use popular link shorteners like bit.ly to cloak links,the mails end up going to spam.Is there any other way to go about it like using uncommon link shorteners?

bit.ly gets you blocked, other shortners do give you trouble. so the best thing to do would be to get a disposable domain and use it for redirection.

Oh, is bitly risky to use for Tweets and Facebook posts as well? I’ve been shortening long articles from legitimate sources (HuffPo and the like) for the sake of meeting the character limit. Hope that’s okay.

Bit ly is absolutely fine for social media. Everyone uses bitly links in their twitter posts.

I'm assuming OP is talking about using them on emails? Everyone uses them on FB and other platforms.

Yes i am referring to using them on emails.It goes fine with social media stuffs but when you use to redirect for other purposes,it ends up going to junk.

I agree with using a disposable domain for redirection as i think that would work best.
