Is it possible to use bots to upload photos to IG?
I've tried it sometimes but with mixed results, and the last time I've tried it I got an account banned, so I got scared and switched back to manually.

Any good experiences with auto-updaters??

You can use post-schedulers and i'm pretty sure a lot of bots have auto posting features. Personally I just upload the content myself, it's a lot easier to caption, etc.

Yes, Jarvee, for example, does that.
Despite having Jarvee though, I prefer third-party schedulers or manual posting.

I am using exclusively Jarvee and works as a charm but I use IP4 proxies.

I use mobile proxies (4G) and my custom bot for uploading. And manually uploading for some big accounts (100k+ followers).

All the cloud bots (Nextpost derivatives are most common) allow you to upload photos and videos, most also in specific story format, very few even give you the possibility to add interactive story elements, @ and # mentions.
Then there are the bots that run on your computer, with Jarvee, GMT-2 and Socinator as the most often used. They also allow you to upload media one by one, or scan a folder on your hard disc to post randomly.
Last but not least, scheduling-only web apps like Hootsuite also allow you to upload photos and videos, though they usually don't allow posting to your story (or do so awkwardly).

A totally different question is whether Instagram accepts your photo (it's usually not a problem for videos): this depends on the IP used, with datacenter proxies having more problems, residentials fewer, mobile rarely any.

I usually post manually except on one occasion with one account on which I reposted via bot and it has been my only disabled account.

I had been using Jarvee to post, but had a few problems (I guess it was mainly a proxy issue), I was scared of losing accounts if I started to post again. I now have some decent quality proxies but I'm still posting manually. do you guys use any particular precautions when using it to post?

You mean posting your own pictures or reposting from other pages? All of my accounts got banned when reposting and none got banned when I uploaded my own posts(using Jarvee scheduler).

am using instabot python (Free) if you have any basics in programming you can use it to download and upload pictures without any problme

I had problems posting my own, but maybe it was for another reason (the account wasn't updated in a while, and it had links)

Nice, thanks, it looks pretty good! I don't have a lot of experience in phyton, but from what I've seen it's a very easy language.
I'll download the bot and start experimenting with smaller accounts.

Mmm why third-party ones?? Just to build some redundancy?
