Well I've been using Sarkars links for years now and to this date, all my sites are still ranking.
I've sold sites for high 5 figures (almost 6 figures) and those sites are also still ranking.
I'm not here to promote him and I don't get anything in return for writing this but I've had nothing but success with his links.
I'll admit some of the links are not high quality but if you look at ANY website on the web, they will have shitty links pointing to them.
I believe social media does help with rankings if you're getting all these signals from a bunch of different sites, search engines will learn more about your site.
You do need good content on site and your onsite seo has to be on point as well.
Here's what I do before ordering:
- Make sure my content is worth ranking - focus on epic content. Something people will share.
- Make sure you page loads fast - faster the better.
- Be careful not to over optimize. Don't stuff your pages with your keyword.
- Make sure you optimize images - alt tags, title tags, file names and optimize for speed.
- Mention your keyword in the title, once or twice above the fold and once or twice within the body of your article.
- Mention synonyms and LSI keywords to keep your keyword relevancy high (don't stuff - make it look natural).
- Good meta titles & description. CTR on titles matter as well so try make your meta titles something people can't resist - almost clickbait like.
- Wordcount - I normally write about 200 - 500 words MORE than what is already ranking for your keyword. If competitor has 2500 words I'll do 3000.
- Youtube videos - I'm not 100% sure if this does help or not but I find adding a relevant youtube video seems to help rank faster? Again, not sure if this is why but I think it helps. I don't have them on all of my pages but I've found all the pages with Youtube videos (relevant ones) rank better.
- Interlink to other pages on your site that are relevant - this builds relevancy.
- Take out all the noise and leaks - if you have sidebars with latest posts or widgets that link to unrelated pages to your keyword, there's a good chance you'll dilute your relevancy. I rarely use a sidebar and if I do I only display a banner or email optin.
- Link out to authority sites that HELP your readers. If you know a good resource that will add value to your page link to it. Google loves sites that are resourceful.
- Make your content easy to consume and digest - short paragraphs, nice formatting and clean/simple design works best in my opinion.
