Hi, I would like to have a question about Google Adsense content.
I see a lot of website place Google Adsense Ad but their website content include copyright content.
For example: thewpclub[.]net , thememazing [.] com - they are sharing CRACKED/NULLED Wordpress theme, which is violate to Google Adsense policy right? Or am I wrong?

Pages with Google ads may not include:
  • Adult themes in family content
  • Pornography, adult or mature content
  • Shocking content
  • Content that threatens or advocates for harm on oneself or others
  • Content that harasses, intimidates or bullies an individual or group of individuals
  • Content that incites hatred against, promotes discrimination of, or disparages an individual or group on the basis of their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization
  • Excessive profanity
  • Hacking/cracking content
  • Software or other content that violates the http://www.google.com/about/company/unwanted-software-policy.html
  • Malware or adware
  • Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content
  • Content that promotes, sells, or advertises products obtained from endangered or threatened species.
  • Online sale of alcoholic beverages
  • Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products
  • Sales of prescription drugs
  • Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g., firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns)
  • Instructions on the enhancement or self-assembly of weapons (e.g., 3D printing of weapons, conversion kits, 80% finished parts)
  • Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays
  • Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails
  • Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others

Can someone help me with this question? Thanks you

Interesting question.

Cracked or null software would be prohibited as thats illegal. But chances are nobody has reported them yet. They could also be using a different ad network that uses Google ad exchange.

They also have a DMCA report on their website so Google is probably letting it go due to that since copyright holders can easily request content be taken down.

This is pretty common just think about like this, millions of millions people using adsense on their website, some websites contain illegal or "bad" contents but their earnings on the account is small, not yet alarmed the Google, so they maybe safe for a long time, but when their earnings are much higher like thousands per month, then a real account manager may check their websites and ban the account.

Most such websites content will be filtered by the automate algorithm, thats why you cab see such a violation notice in your search console policy center, there are also a ton of websites content "passed" the algo but won't pass a human test.

And don't forget one day you see some ads on a website, does not mean the next day it won't get a ban. So think longterm, do whitehat, win the long battle. (or play a cat mouse game?)
