Dont Use FREENOM

Hello guys, after my experience with Freenom i really DONT recommend them its not worth it, i bought a .com domain and i was getting alot of traffic on that domain and i had Auto Renew on that domain so when it expires it does Auto Renew and i had 40 Euro on my Freenom Funds Balance and thats enough to Renew it, but my domain did NOT auto renew and when i contacted them they said that my domain is expired and dropped into the redemption period and that i need to pay 50 Euro to keep it or wait 90 Days to buy it again, they also told me its my own Fault that the domain did not auto renew

Mate.. I totally sympathies with you , I have an open dispute with exactly the same story as you on UK2 .. bunch of twats IMOA.
I had a .com ghosted on godaddy because I bought I really good domain for music and the it turned out the owner had basically forgotten to renew it but it was was on hold for another client 301'ing to his main.
I legitimately sniped it.. and they even sent me emails saying please could I transfer it and they would pay the fees. Of course I told them to FO. And then one day..about a week later.. boom " gone !
Now cause I'm doing ok I would have sued their ass, back then I hadn't a pot to piss in.
co-locate its the only way to make sure you have full control.

Why would you use Freenom to buy domains in the first place? They have their use, they provide free domains, but if you want to pay for a domain, go to a trusted registrar. You don't have to rely upon autorenewals either. How many ways are there these days to send you a reminder, when your domain is about to expire? You set a reminder in the calendar of your smart device, which alerts you via push notification and send an email, when you need it.

For me the Best is Namecheap and Namesilo to buy Domain.

Free domains are of different types. Where one you have to purchase a product The second gets the same without any commitments so not use Free Domain.

i didnt use free domains, i bought domains from freenom but they didnt want to renew them and they want me to pay 50 Euro

As already commented above - Freenom is not the best place to buy .com domains, but a good place to get disposable ones.

no, i bought the domain for 10$/year and after one year they did not let me to renew it and they locked the domain and they want 50 Euro
