I'm concerned that if I put it out there online that I would write reviews for businesses or do this or that, that I would be outing myself to the people who might blacklist my other work as a result of it.

But also... I feel like in the instance of paying for a writer, you're more likely to be the one whose reputation is compromised if you are the purchasing party who is found out for his tendency to buy either cheaply and poorly made content or in bad taste, the attempt to falsify approval of that content.

So at that point, at what point does my advertising this make me appear to a potential customer as a likely person to get them caught for the purchase they would prefer to make in quiet somewhere in a dark forum's secret spot?

The thing is, if I cannot prove that my writing is worth paying for with a website, I feel like I will lose out to someone who will not be able to find the specific writing style and appearances of genuine social media interaction he is willing to pay for.

I know that is why many of you conduct business on this marketplace but I am not ready to attempt to pay to do that. I'm still thinking about my portfolio that Im wondering how you guys go about sharing yours.

Why not set up a different website for that and keep your two services separate. Or on your site have a membership section and hide it

Exactly! Just keep your name (website name) out of dirty sections in the net and you'll be fine

Setup like a white-hat SEO site and offer on-site SEO. Write a blog about SEO (white, gray and black) and rank those keywords. Your site will show up for black hat SEO keywords even if you don't offer such services explicitly. You can hide those services behind memberships.

Offer something like free site SEO report on signup to lure customers into members only zone, where they can find black hat services. This is tricky but should work if you don't leave any pattern or footprints.
