Google Plus+ Down

Surprised no one is talking about this.

The day we dreaded has come - said no one ever. Today google officially shut down Google plus. As engadget puts it: "You didn't fail, you just didn't succeed", and it's 100% right. There's not a "rise and fall of google plus", it never really took off to begin with.

RIP to the best tool for getting extra credits/discounts without having to use your personal/business twitter/facebook account.

The concept of Google+ was just shit for the average user. In my opinion it was doomed to fail. It was not user-friendly, the structure was weird. I used many platforms such as Twitter, FB, IG, MySpace (10 years ago), Pinterest and other networks without any problem, but Google+ really confused me sometimes. I am wondering how the average internet user (especially those 40+ years old) should have used this platform?

But this whole "fail" shows one thing:

No matter how much $$$ you have, no matter how much TRAFFIC you have, if your product is shit, you won't succeed.

TBH when Google first announced the "circles" feature I already had lots of "friends" in Facebook and was kind of afraid people would keep me out of their circles on this new social network lol.

Was the most terrible product. They copied pinterest, changed design many times. And yes another user already posted this. Google also closed goo.gl shortener. Well the biggest losers for me is

Microsofts decision to close msn and forward it to skype

Google videos (remember 2005), google+

Myspace

It absolutely sucked as a social media, and yet somehow I made $900+ revenue posting in some Groups. Won't miss it though.

I have so many undelivered orders on fiverr that I'm yet to deliver cos Google Plus' shit

I even sold +1 on fiverr.

I never sold +1's. They were a literal +1 in Google. It was fantastic for SEO at the time.
