Tons of New Image Spam Sites

I've been seeing tons of new backlinks to the images on multiple of my sites and they are all coming from sites that just have a ton of photos and nothing else. These sites all look relatively similar and they all appear to be on expired domains. Is this a new method I haven't heard of from you guys here or is this something completely unrelated to BHW?

callstevens.com / shedding.html
silverrockent.com / dog-puzzle-toys-amazon.html

I have seen it too. Maybe those image site ranks easily in google and someone might be taking advantage of this loophole!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well as I have seen this over the last 6 months on several sites. The other ones I see is an image or pdf from my site put behind a content locker as a 'technical diagram'. All sites doing this look extremely similar in design.

Yes, I have seen this as well. Pretty interested to know if these sites are actually working lol

this may be true, but who the hell would even spend time on these sites long enough to click-through to their affiliate links??

PDFs hosted in parasites and sites like those that dominate the Image game because there is no SEO competition there.

You stumble across them by accident, ever since you cant copy images directly off google you are forced to open to the actual site.

I still just right click and save as, works for me on Safari.

The last link seems to be using amazon affiliate program I think.

I thought I would bump this, anyone worked out what they are trying to do with these sites? I have tonnes of them linking to my site, I thought it was one of our competitors trying to spam us. I've disavowed them all over time.

Can you provide any new examples? I see that some of these sites have Ads running.
