Ahrefs are rolling out content explorer version 2

They've added a feature to filter broken pages on content explorer

Unfourtuently it's only available on the standard plan and up. Well worth a look for those looking to get into broken link building or speed up the process.

Broken link building is a very long process doing it free. In short, find pages use chrome extension Link Miner to check for broken links. Resource pages work well for broken link building.

By this stage, you should have a spreadsheet full of potential broken link building opportunities. But your work isn’t done yet; you still need to reach out and build those links. Broken link building outreach isn’t rocket science.

Here is the basic process:

1. find the contact details for the site you’re reaching out to
2. send them an email letting them know about the broken link on their site (and suggest your link as a replacement in the process).
