DomRecovery - Resurrect Websites from Wayback Machine

All requested coupons have been sent out now. Thanks for the requests.

We are still taking requests for anyone interested.

Cheers

I lost my content on my website because my hosting expired; are you able to recover it? This was like 3-4 years ago from my website; I want the website content and design back; how do I recover it?

Once I have recovered the files, how do I integrate the files to WordPress?
I assume that would be tricky part as we have just the content, not the DB. I am trying to figure out a workarroung with uploading the content to the domain with already installed wordpress and just adjust the settings, it won't be that simple. i have created a ticket with the support, awaiting feedback.

That is exactly what DomRecovery does, it takes websites from the Wayback Machine and recovers them as they appear there. If your website is archived in the Wayback Machine then you can recover it as is from there.

I have sent you the coupon in case you wanted to purchase.

robertign0 is correct that to recover a WP website as a WP website would require admin access to the website and/or database for the WP install, this is never going to happen. Automating a conversion is also just not possible as every site is so different making any attempts at automation a futile task.

i am ready to buy but you will need to help me to make my wordpress website live again...along with comments and images as in archive.
its mere 30 page website.
if thats ok please send me coupon code
if you can do it ...i am ready to pay you instead of buying software.
Thanks

I don't offer a service for recovering websites. DomRecovery is a software that will recover websites for the user, as many as the user wants.

DomRecovery will recover the website exactly as it appears in the Wayback Machine, this means every website will be a fully working html website. Website's will not come equipped with a CMS backend regardless of what platform it was built on, this would require backend access to the original website which would only be available via hacking or some other means which is impractical to assume.

If you want a website to be built on any CMS platform you will need to do it manually, there may be some software or service to aid in this process but it is not something that I do as it will always require manual work and may not end up how you would expect.

Hi there. Please could you send me the latest coupon code.

Is the 7 day "full money back guarantee" still available? Thanks.

Can I use DomRecovery to scrape articles from old website, so I can reuse them on my websites?

I guess this thread is abandoned
It is not abandoned, I have sent out all requested coupons and answered everyone in one form or another apart from your post which slipped by me. DomRecovery is for recovering entire websites, it cannot be used for puling articles only.

Hi

Can you explain what this is exactly and if it can help me.

I have bought a auction domain and there is 150 pages.

I have been copying and pasting the content from WBM to wordpress but it is way to time consuming.

I am hoping this can help me speed things up?

DomRecovery can be used for recovering entire websites along with content and styling so that it can be quickly and easily uploaded to your own hosting. DomRecovery can't be used for scraping just the article on a website, it outputs an html version of the website as it appears in the Wayback Machine.

Does this mean its not good for a WordPress website?
