It's important to NEVER accept ANY Goods & Services payments on paypal if you're an SMM reseller. So many people take advantage of the refund scheme. Only accept Friends & Family.
I disagree. On Friends & Family Paypal gets no fee, so they probably hate such transactions. It's generally advised NOT to accept Friends and Family payments, or accept as less of them as possible, in order to keep your PP account safe.
Used to be I would sometimes ask customers to send as Friends and Family. I haven't been doing that for about a year now. I just let them decide. Most send it as Goods & Services, and on occasion someone surprises me with a F&F payment
That guy had messaged me months ago on Skype. Most retarded guy I have met in the last 2 years. He messaged me and asked me what is my panel name. I ask him "where did you find my skype info?" and he tells me he heard of it somewhere. I just ignored him, anyone that can't behave like a normal person is not to be trusted.
You did better than I did. I bet you're glad now
But about anyone that can't behave like a normal person. You know, sometimes I give leniency because not everyone is intelligent, not everyone is communicative, not everyone speaks good English, and having a lack of some of those skills could be misconstrued as scammy or untrustworthy, when it may just be a certain "lack of ability", or how to call it.
I'm just too nice, that's my problem
It's good to expose scammers, but you aren't allowed to post someone's address or similar personal information here on BHW.
Actually, if I knew his actual physical address, I would not have posted it. It wouldn't serve any purpose to do that.
I posted his PAYPAL address. So if anyone gets a payment from this bastard, and they google his Paypal info, they may run into this thread, and thank me for saving them the fucking trouble.
He can easily change his email address on Paypal, but not his physical address! Yeah okay, he can also change his physical address, but confirming it could be a problem for him, not as easy as changing your email address.
I think if this apply to this situation
@MisterF would edit OP .
He did edit me. When I originally posted this thread I listed ALL the Facebook Pages this scammer bought likes for.
@MisterF deleted that thread, so I reposted it without the Facebook pages. I disagree but respect his decision.
Now when I get my shit together I'll contact all those pages and try to get them to stop buying from whoever they're buying, and maybe some of them buy from me. With a little luck I even get a few of those page owners to do chargebacks on their purchases from the other guy. Yes, revenge, I'm vindictive!
Always SAVE ALL chats (conversations) so you can dispute with PP in your favor..
Okay, I can't understand this. So I have a long ass Skype conversation with this person. How do I send that to Paypal? Do I just send them bits and pieces? And how do I tie the scammer, the person doing the chargebacks, to the Skype conversation? What's my proof?
Unless it's like email convo and his email from our correspondance is the same as his Paypal email, I don't see how I could use it as proof on Paypal that this is a conversation between me and this specific buyer/scammer/son of a bitch.
I'd say crypto only from here on out bro! Don't let this fool stop your business
Bro, crypto only? No way man. But crypto included, crypto one of my main guys, my main squeeze, my main heavyweight, Definitely!
Really? So you'd sacrifice 100s of customers who simply will not pay in crypto, for one or two negative customers?
Yeah.. no..
Theres lots of companies now that allow you to get people to pay by card and you receive crypto...google it bro
Yeah but it's not that simple. People need to jump through 100 hoops to get it done. I'm not selling gold for pennies here. I'm not selling the cure for cancer, know what I'm saying
If orders above 100$ or somewhat.
Ask them to buy BTC for safer transaction. If they're really willing to purchase your service they would do that and it's easy to purchase btc now.
Paypal will flagged you for numerous high amount friends and family transaction.
But only the people already having/knowing Bitcoin will pay that way. Someone that is only aware of bitcoin, I highly doubt they'll go through the entire process of obtaining some just so they can pay me. And if they do, they're a tiny minority.
Agreed on the high amount of Friends and Family transactions.
Google what bro? Take those crypto guru millenial glasses off. If you offer crypto payments / no PayPal, you will lose a shit load of customers. Like it or don't, it's a fact.
You're a funny guy man, and a bit of a prick. I wouldn't wanna be on your bad side
But I agree with you on this one actually, 100%.
COMPLETELY agree, you will lose so many customers or potential customers by eliminating the simplest, most common form of online payment. Not many people know about crypto, or are unfamiliar to it, oppose to Paypal.
Right, agreed. But a lot of people, while prefering to pay with Paypal, could whip out their credit card or their Payoneer or Skrill balance or Cryptos or even a bank transfer, if asked. So Paypal can be minimized, it absolutely can, and it MUST!
Yeah of course right? Because if I wanted to buy a simple $20 service. I'm going to open a Coinmama account, then I'm going to play the 6 hour game involving numerous pictures of me and my bank card untill my $20 is accepted. Then im going to open a Bittrex account to transfer my shit over. Then I'm going to pay for a service that I could have paid for in an instance 6 days ago using the same fucking credit card that I started the bullshit game with.
To suggest that one would lose fuck all customers switching from PayPal to Bitcoin is quite simply fucking idiotic. Hence the reason people put up with the pathetic shitty PayPal game. Cause like it or don't, it makes no fucking difference, PayPal is the number one payment processor. Plain and simple fact, no matter how much you try to dress it up with your hipster millenial shite. To switch to Crypto and ditch PayPal, you may as well kiss goodbye to 99.99% of your customers.
Basically, yes. Well said.
so you want to whats the best solution for this business? let me spoonfeed
if you buy stealth paypal, thats gonna be kind of waste of money, and again dispute result= ban
if you create new paypal yourself and verify card bank etc, later again dispute result = ban
then whats the best solution?
best solution is your patience. ready to deal with paypal 180 days hold if you really want to do business, after dealing with all dispute get ready for ban and 180 days hold but later you gonna get that money, not permanent lose , everybody knows...... you are welcome to run social media marketing business on paypal
Actually yes, it sort of consoles me that at least I won't lose that money.
But here's my question to you. Say you get suspended on Paypal, and they lock your money for 180 long days. And then those 180 days expire and you get your money back. Now can you make a new Paypal account with the same legit information?
I know you can, but all the disputes and bullshit aside, how likely are you to not get banned because you're previously been banned??
This guy is just accepting deposits and having funds sitting that are returning him 2x if not 3x with SMM reseller rates...
He's spending $500 to get back lets say $1200 and BTC or LTC would be a perfect place to have that sit and grow while he can withdraw what he needs to - if he even needs to from a crypto atm. Yeah he's going to lose some customers, maybe even half. But his money is going to be growing long term automatically (personal opinion) and he never has to worry about a refund, chargeback, or any other bullshit because it's crypto. This is someone who was talking about shutting down. Don't shut down, use the business as a long term investment AND offer discount to your customers who sign up under your referral link to buy crypto because most of the aff programs are lifetime.
Just some thoughts
Crypto is definitely my top player now, and will remain that probably. But I can't go full crypto, I'll leave so much money on the table, it would be depressing
Yeah Bitcoin is growing. Yeah, if you are living in some fantasist bullshit parallel world that is opposite to what is actually happening with Bitcoin.
So in reality, not only would I lose 99% of my customers (in the real world) I'd lose 30% of the money I actually managed to get from my now 99% down customer base.
You are seriously suggesting that if one ditched PayPal for Bitcoin, one would be better off? You are really going to suggest that for your namesake username? The delusion is real I see.
You mean 30% because Bitcoin (and other cryptos) could lose value?
sorry to hear that, you should be more careful with this type of transactions
I can only be so careful. This customer contacted me on Skype and we talked, the audacity! It's not like a shadow person who comes in, buys, and then chargebacks and never says a word. This guy reached out, a pro scammer son of a bitch.
I gald that you name him and shame him that guy destroyed your business and stole from you.Stop that guy in his tracks.
Yeah, I did what I could. Hopefully I save somebody else the trouble of dealing with this guy.
