A guy has advertised with Traffic Junky and said it's fake !
He spent $100 and its not increasing website views yet they claim to have delivered 200000 impressions & 2000 clicks he think he was scammed...

Hard to say, he might have had shit pages or something?

But I've also heard that they have had problems with a lot of bot traffic and just low HQ traffic in general.

Haven't tried them myself yet tho...

It’s pretty easy to detect bot traffic. Most of the companies that sell bot/low quality not even able to provide info about the ad campaign and where the ad was rotated.

IMPRESSION was 172,963 CLICKS was 703 CTR was 0.40645 and zero conversion at crankrevenue

Bot traffic is everywhere. You have to test on a high budget and set up your own whitelist which converts. The thing is, nearly no one can pass the test. Premium traffic is for the sharks, media buy becomes the war of money.

Just because you dont got sales dont mean that they are scam
So facebook is a scam too. Wasted $70 and 0 sales

Exoclick is working directly with big companies like redtube, pornhub etc..
but they have minimum deposit requirements - $200

What I can say about this from my own experience is that TJ doesnt convert at all, that is 100% true.

BUT

Each time I start a TJ campaign (£50/day), I observe a huge increase in term of indirect traffic. People who directly come from pornsites doesnt convert right now, but some of them are researching my brand name on google or going directly to my website after and eventually buy my products. I'm making money from it at the end, I just have no clue of the % of bot traffic.

There is a lot of alternative, Im currently running an experiment test to compare the quality of the traffic between TJ and Exoclick.

Just google "adult ad networks analysis", there are some 2019 articles that might help you to choose one.
