Im tired...

Guys, im tired...

2 months ago in January Paypal suspended my account with over $10k in it. Locked the money for 6 months.

I saved up about $40.000 from my online earnings. Saving up to buy an apartment. But starting to worry about what if i buy the apartment and the tax people government whatever comes asking where the money came from. It was all earned legally of course, but i paid no taxes on it.

Today got hit with $1,280 worth of chargebacks by some puece of shit. Paypal permanently suspended my account and locked about $2.5k for 6 months.

Now i have no Paypal account. I have 3 sites where i only accept paypal. Those are dead now.

Was planning to make a fake site so that i can apply for 2checkout with it, but im not sure if i have the will to do it.

You know, i sell mostly social media services. When i started doing this business no one had a problem with it. And now it feels like i keep having to play cat and mouse with the payment processors, and i hate it. Its one thing to play cat and mouse with the social networks and the search engines and various other sites, but if i have to worry about the site that actually handles my money, its a terrible burden for me.

Ive been working like 15-20 hours a day for years now. Gave up on everything. Friends, life, everything. I was building something. Websites, customers, building and improving and growing. But i fear im exshausted. Im burned out. And the thing i was building is "high risk" now, and its just a problem at every turn.

I dont know. On the one hand im thinking go offline, get out of the house and start something in the real world. On the other hand im thinking pivot, do something else online. Maybe affilite marketin or something, where i just drive the traffic and let others worry about customers and payment processors. On the other hand im thinking continue with social media, but without Paypal. Cryptos, payoneer, skrill, use everything else, forget about paypal

Thing is, i want to make Big money. And i want to build something. But i havent accomplished the first, and im not on my way to accomplishing the second. And i gave it my best. All my time, all my effort, all my energy...

Yeah. Yeah... i dont know you guys...
life is full of ups and downs...never a smooth ride to eldorado. step back and reevaluate this whole shit. If you think it's worth your time, come back ten times harder and stronger. whatever you do, just take it slow and do not rush. One more thing, if you could, avoid that evil organization called PayPal. I stopped using them a long time ago. I can't imagine working so hard and then, having those suckers tell me I can't have my money for some bull*** reason.

It happens to everyone , failure is part of life. Change is good , if you are worn out try something else and come back with a different outlook.Take it as a blessings in disguise, maybe this failure will be a good thing later.

Sell your laptop buy a brand new camera create a youtube account and travel around the world if u are good enough at your work, u will be rich and famous within 10 months

Relax for a few days, we all get tired and failures are inevitable.

Come back stronger.

this is the price you pay as an Entrepreneur/IM, always there are and will be up and downs, up when you earn a lot of cash and downs when you wake up morning and found a Big Loss, if you do not want to pay that price, a 9-5 Job is waiting for you, and let me tell you the regular life is so annoying, paying more taxes and saving less money every month,

i have faced the same situation as you 3 times now. just lately got my latest Paypal account terminated, without any logic reason from them, selling from ebay currentely iam a power seller
spent night over night building that account, and i woke up a day on a Paypal Message saying -your account was terminated- and wait 180 days ...

Anyway ive learned the lesson the hard way.

What will i do next? Quit...NO NO, the same way i build the old business, will continue to build another one, maybe on different platfrom, changing my strategy, ...will do what it takes to build another stream of income, Same to you ;)

Come on bro, after the difficulty comes the ease.
Im having bad times also and I'm working offline. But when I get home I always do my shit.
Just keep building your empire. You lost money, but not knowledge.

But starting to worry about what if i buy the apartment and the tax people government whatever comes asking where the money came from. It was all earned legally of course, but i paid no taxes on it.

What's the tax? Here it would be around $3,000

Declare it, pay the tax, invest in the real world/get a slightly cheaper apartment?

Keep/Start new IM adventure as hobby (to not lose touch and be in luck's way) and do something else for a while (travel, brick&mortar, teaching, etc.)

I am guessing you knew selling likes won't last forever, and you had a pretty good run at it (really, $40k saved and you are complaining? people work 15h/day without having much to show month's end pretty much all over, so do consider yourself lucky).

Do update about the burn out, how you're dealing with it, many can make use of your experience here.

Good luck with your new endeavors and finding a solution to the paypal issue.

Mate, when you're talking numbers, I wouldn't agree you didn't accomplished big money. That's a lot money to make from social media, at least for me and in most of the countries.

It wasn't all social media, but most of it was :)

First of all, from times to times it is better to get out from the house and live your life. This could be an investment in yourself.
Second, forget about PayPal and go to Cryptos. Or ( but here I am not 100% sure that will works ), have you try https://pub.superrewards.com/, or a similar service like this one?
Anyway, I wish you good luck!!

Thanks for the comment man.

Look, there's no "forgetting about Paypal." I wish we get to the point where there's 5 or 10 or more alternatives and each has its own large user base. But for now Paypal has a monopoly, and I must continue to use it.

That said, up until 2 months ago I was using ONLY Paypal and nothing else. Now I have about 10 different payment processors, and I'm looking to get more. So Paypal already fucked up with me. And I will always encourage other payment processors and leave Paypal for last, even refusing to take Paypal often times. Hopefully one day I can drop my Paypal usage to a very low level.

Take a break. Turn everything off and come back later.
Don't break your life/health, because if you're not healthy you will accomplish nothing.
Take care of yourself first.

True, thanks.

Also I would agree to the guys above and try to take a bit of time off. You earned it.

I actually did, haha. I am taking a bit of a break, just a small break. So instead of working 18 hours per day (or whatever it is, every waking hour), now I work about half the day, and the other half I'm playing some games I've missed hahaha :D

Assume you didn't just put 40k into savings overnight. And you saved that over a time frame? If its 12months plus I don't think many will question it being in the savings account. As long as you have a paper trail when it comes to sending that money to escrow for your deposit it came from savings and the savings account has the history you should be A OK. I think you are fine there. But no expert and laws change from country to country.

As PayPal. It sucks.

Best advice. Drink some water, go for a walk. Brush today off and start again tomorrow. Are you really going to let this problem hold you back? You proved you can make money, this is just a test, all businesses get tested either with problems, cash flows or staff related.. 95% would just give up don't be a statistic.

Get some rest. Suck it up. Plan your next move. Execute.

If stuff really is shitty, drop me a PM and vent to me I'll listen.

Oh no, of course not overnight. I've been saving for 3-4 years now. Shit, I wish it was overnight. But I was only using Paypal up until a few months ago, so even if I made that much money overnight, I'd probably get banned, just because they can :D

Well, no, I won't let this stop me. But I must say, I've had ups and downs with social networks problems and all sorts of other problems. And even though it was often hard, I handled it and nothing came close to breaking me. But Paypal problems got as close as it gets. Simply because all the websites and all the customers and all the social media pages and all the promotion and all the article writing and all the everything I do means nothing if my one and only payment processor suspends me :o

That said, I'm expanding now. Using about 10 payment processors now. Already got some cryptos, and some perfectmoney payments, and payoneer, and Paypal is not the gatekeeper in my town any longer :)

I knew I needed to get other payment processors going way before I ever had any Paypal problems. I read BHW, I see people going though Paypal problems, and I know my time would come. But I kept saying tomorrow, and never expanded. Oh well, things happen the waw they happen, lessons learned, we continue.

I may drop you a PM :)

The SMM panel im using is one of the biggest, and they also have problems with PayPal, and they're doing good without it.
Don't give up on IM, don't find an offline job, maybe you should just take a break. And you'll come back stronger.

“Tough times don't last, tough people do. ”

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm not giving up, fuck that.

You built an empire. Now, don't give it up for Paypal or someone else who has a little or no contribution to your success. If Paypal did it once, they can do it again. So, think about alternatives. I believe that starting from scratch again would be tiresome and frustrating.

I agree. I mean, I'm definitely not planning on dropping everything I'm doing and moving onto something entirely new. Anything new I start will be a side project to my main thing, and maybe eventually the side project becomes the main thing, or maybe not. In any case, I do need to diversify :)

Was Paypal registered for another country ? Where re u from btw??
Take a break, you are disappointed cause of this setback, when our goals fail we all do, but this is a temporary thing.

I had a Paypal for about 4 years, registered where I live. I live in the Balkans. That one got banned back in January.

Then I used a family member's Paypal, and that's the one I lost the other day. And by the way, I created that family member's account 3 years ago, they did not use it or need it, so no harm done to them.

Yeah, I'll come back from this, but it was a hit and I need a bit of time to get back up fully.

Check the market place .. Many of Paypal providers there with all the documentation

So, you have a source of earning, traffic who pay, and your problem is the platform of paying and feeling tired. You are in a situation better than 90% of people in the forum, and 95% of people outside

Good points.

Frankly, I don't wanna jerk around with stealth Paypals. I really don't. I'll just work on getting as many Paypal alternatives going, and slowly limiting my reliance and usage of Paypal to the smallest level I can possibly get it to.

" It was all earned legally of course, but i paid no taxes on it."

THIS, and I stopped reading...

Um, okay. Have a nice day :)

Yes, from time to time we feel the exhaustion and the give up feeling. Do some sport, yoga, clean up your diet, and find something that brings some fun to your soul. It will make wonders to the burn out, and maybe try Paypal stealth accounts

Making money brings fun to my soul :D

We don't know his/her financial history or what financial advice he/she has had/taken.

Could have been earning under the tax threshold in his/her country for 10 years to save that up - place the money in an ISA equivalent and no tax to be paid. Plenty of ways to save money and pay little to no tax on said savings.

So I lived almost my entire life in a country where you were allowed to earn up to about $18,000 per year, untaxed.

Then a year after I started making money online I moved to my native country, and I looked into this tax business a little, and found two stories being peddled by people online. One was that you can earn up to about the same amount untaxed, and the other is that you pay taxes on EVERYTHING you earn. Maybe a little naively, I believed the people saying the first thing.

Recently I looked into it deeper, and came to the realization that the people saying that by law you're taxed on EVERYTHING (even gifts actually) were correct. Fuck. But the country I live in is a mess, so don't expect to be chased for breaking little laws or a little money not being declared. Problem is, I've saved up a fair amount. So even though I want to register a business I still get people on the one hand telling me I shouldn't, I won't have any problems, bla bla bla.

Anyway, I messed up, I should have looked into it better back when I did. But it is what it is, now I have to deal with it one way or another.

This is the point where a lot people either:

- Quit
- Evolve

Since things are not so stable and you lost a lot, you need to find a new way. A safer way. Evolve your work, take a little risks and try new things. You already have a lot of knowledge and experience in your backpack, it would be a shame to let it go. THAT you would most defintely regret.

But most importantly: don't take your life for granted. Start taking care of your social life (if you want that), starting working out and so on. Don't spend all day every day infront of the computer, like me and a lot of others. It might bring in some greens, but it's not healthy and not a long term option if you want to live long and happy. At least not for most people.

Take a week or two off. Do some other things and stop thinking of your business for a bit. Then come back with a fresh and calm mind with new perspectives.

Last year I received a big kick to the groin as well, a lot of hard work was for nothing. I just wanted to give up and punch someone in the jaw. I was a crossroads, either give up or keep on fighting and find a better plan of what I do. It took some time and a lot of hard work. But now my extra income from IM is a little bit safer and more effective. Less time and money goes to waste in the way I am working now, comparred to before my IM business took a hit. So even if it sucked big time, I still learned and evolved a lot from it.

Take a few weeks off IM, this forum and everything connected to it. Relax, enjoy other things and come back with more perspectives.

I wish you the best and hope you get back up on the horse

Man that sucks. As always paypal destroying livelihoods. But don't give up, look around here a you can definitely find a good way to earn good money

Yeah, Paypal doing what Paypal does. I ain't giving up, but a change is in order. I can either change my business completely, or find ways to keep doing what I do. I ain't changing my business, I'm not gonna let Paypal bully me. Fuck em and the horse they rode in on. We keep up keeping up! :)

Get it together man! Business is full of these situations. Have a plan B on how to deal with payment situation.
You already have clients. You would be stupid to let everything go. Just change terms/payment method and continue to build your empire!
Peace out!

Get it together man - SLAP!

Got it together :D

Yeah, exactly what I should do... exactly what I'm doing... we'll see where we end up :)

Paypal seems to dry out your business. It's a big deal that most people are already under the leisure to pay via nothing, but just PayPal. So, moving onto another payment-processor may not be well worth for your business. I recommend having the payments fragmented to a number of PayPal accounts. Send funds to people's PayPal wallet whom you have a close connection with. And ultimately re-direct the payment from them to you and not by means of PayPal (Maybe as your native currency after they've debited). Consequently, you could set up payment for each site from each person's id and of course, pay them %.

You'll have to roll quite an average amount of time but may be worth it, from my point of view.

My thing now is not to move to another payment processor, but to move to many payment processors, that way no one payment processor can shut my lights out. Because for all the shit Paypal is, that's not to say that the other payment processors are 100% safe and secure. They can fuck me over just as easily, any of them.

Your idea to diversify and split payments between many Paypal accounts is golden, but the problem is I don't want to do the stealth thing. But also I don't want to put any of my friends' Paypal accounts at risk, and there's only so many family members I can use that don't use Paypal :)

Don't blend in brother. Stand out!

What do pivot mean? A new thing? I saw many tv shows' first episode to be "pivot". I still dont get the meaning.

So after 6 months you will get the full 10k right or they are gonna permanently keep some money and never give you?
And did you show them screenshot or email proofs where you properly delivered your services that you took money for?

I'm trying brother, I'm trying.

haha that's a Pilot. The first episode that's released for a TV Show is a Pilot. Pivot is, well... :D

After 6 months I should get he full $10k

What kind of scerenshot or email proof could I possibly show? I don't have any email proof, and any panel screenshot would mean nothing, can be faked. But even if it's not faked, how could I possibly tie the panel orders to that particular customer? It's a different story if you're selling physical products and have tracking info and whatnot.

I am sorry this happened to you.
1. Find something like Payoneer or dwolla or stripe that may service your country.
2. You are 90% ahead of most people on line who have never made a dime.
3. Take what you did and make a course on udemy or skillshare and teach myself and other newbies how to do what you have done. Then you can re-create yourself as a coach with PROVEN methods, not some poser who asks for thousands and he has no track record!

Just my thoughts!!

I'm already using many other payment processors, since about 2 months ago. And Payoneer is actually sort of my main guy right now. Dwolla is not available in my country, and neither is Stripe :/

Well I could, but I don't really want to sell courses. I kind of don't want to teach, and I don't want to become a name, a guru, or any of that shit. I just want to bring good products and services to the "online marketplace" and sell things to happy customers, that's what I like :)

I feel OP's pain, PP is really a pain to work with. Even if you never get an account locked there are chargebacks and scammers that hit you and nobody is there to protect against it. Hopefully BitCoin become more wide spread, but outside of a FEW niches you really need credit card and/or PP for taking payment.

Sell your laptop buy a brand new camera create a youtube account and travel around the world if u are good enough at your work, u will be rich and famous within 10 months
How is he going to edit videos if he sells his laptop?
Don't tell me phone. You can't edit quality videos on phone.

It's inevitable to get charge-backs, very important clients accept TOS first where you cover yourself 100% first.

About clients accepting TOS. I don't even know what that's for other than a technicality in order to be "legit." Paypal and any other institution don't give two shits about your TOS. They'll do whatever they wanna do, their TOS overrides your TOS. And government laws override your TOS. I don't even know why TOS exist except for the likes of Paypal and stuff, it's stupid.

Was planning to make a fake site so that i can apply for 2checkout with it, but im not sure if i have the will to do it.

Don't even go that path, it will only fuck shit more up!

Why shouldn't I make a site and apply for 2checkout? Why would that fuck shit up even more?

You can't tell me you didn't already knew it would have been like that choosing that path, cat&mouse is part of the game.

Actually, I didn't know that. As far as social media services go, when I started out doing it, it wasn't considered high risk, there wasn't any of this bullshit negative stigma attached to it.

And even the general cat & mouse game, I didn't know I would have to play it when I started out years ago. At first I wanted to Build something. Make social pages, grow them, build an empire, create something great, sustainable, long-lasting. Then Twitter bans you, and Facebook blocks your site, and Youtube removes your video, and all this shit starts happening, and you end up having to play cat & mouse. And that was all fine, I can live with it, but I never thought I would have to play it with Payment Processors :o

Well what you know, most of us dedicated people are like that. I'm currently 18/24 behind the computer :D pretty much everyone I know personal over here live their standard lives and fuck yeah, that path is way easier! Have a steady job, wake up 5 days in the week at the same time, finish sort or less at the same time, come home tired, deal with (optional) wife and kids, the weekend try to relax, after sunday, rinse and repeat.

You want to play it safe? Go with that life :) Want to do IM, be prepared to suffer losses, fucking changes that any company makes that makes no fucking sense at all like google, FB, IG, Twitter etc.

I don't want to play it safe. I just frankly never though I would have to play games with payment processors. I always though, I'm a legit person, I'm honest, I'm present, I'm willing to work out any issues or problems that may arise with any customers, so payment processors are safe for me, I'm no scammer.

Boy was I wrong :D algorithms and monkey employees don't care if you're a real person or how you do it.

Anyway bruh, this is just a phase where you had to vent because you can't do it IRL and I totally get you man, I feel the same!

Bro hug :D

giphy.gif

ps: tell me where you live so I can kick you in the nutz!!

hahahhaha man I love it, thank you so much for this :D

Dont stop. You only lose when you stop. I feel you. In 2010, I was making $1k daily from adsense and one morning I woke up with the email that says your accoun t has been terminated. And my daily income came from 1K to 0.
Can you imagine that ? But I never stopped and always make better and better! Just dont lose your motivation.

I won't stop.

Sorry to hear that man. I hope you're making that and much more by now :)

This is where the V2.0 market place came in place.
just provide your service and don't worry about payment processor

Yeah but, again you run into the same shit where you're at the mercy of the marketplace. I sell on Fiverr, I get it, I know how it goes. And also you lose 10-30% of the money on those marketplaces.

Doing it yourself, your own websites, you lose a few percentages on receiving money, but you keep most of it, and you get to play by your own rules. Of course on the other hand you have to deal with payment processors and all that shit yourself.

Make step by step videos how to use Crypto for noobs to deposit if you get the energy.

That's actually a good idea. I might do that. Show customers that want to pay with Paypal how to convert it into crypto.

But OUPS, Paypal doesn't like cryptos, even that they're gonna make difficult. Fucking assholes.

I am feeling sorry for you mate, but one question is crossing my mind. Why didn’t you registered an LLC when you started making some decent cash? I don’t agree witb people who say “Put it into bitcoin” it is literally money laundering.

Frankly, I've heard of "LLC" a thousand times, but I have no idea what that means. Limited L.. Company...

I could google it, but if we were talking face to face, I couldn't tell an LLC if it got on its knees and sucked my dick.

I don't know about money laundering. You just avoid paying taxes to the greedy ungrateful government who's gonna take your money, give you nothing in return, and waste the money. Hm...

Just here to say that PayPal sucks. I have a legit account for about 8 years, recently starting to sell on eBay. Guess what a 21 day "lock" on every fucking order i get.

Like i don't need that money to actually keep my stock up.. Gosh that pisses me off.

As for on-topic.

Been there done that.

Don't be afraid to walk away from it all for a while. If you are as hooked on IM as i am you will get back at it anyways ( forever it seems... ).

Yes i also went from xx.xxx to 0 overnight. Killed me every single time but in the end it did prove me that everything is possible. You just need some hard work, luck and most of all accept that life will fuck you over every single day when it can.

Keep it up.

Thanks man :)

Switch to other payment processors, it's that easy. You knew that PayPal is fucked up so you've been playing with fire for a while.
And yes, get out take some fresh air, be more social, it's really important to stay human, money isn't everything.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. The more payment processors I use the better. I guess in time I'll have some customers pay with Payoneer, some with Skrill, some with cryptos, some with this method and that method, and then no matter what happens I'll never be busted up over night if Paypal or whoever Paypal suspends me or locks my money. That's it :)

As my mentor said to me when I had no desire to keep forth - Life is a boxing match, when you're down, you've got to get up. THERE'S NOTHING ELSE YOU CAN DO.

Your perception has collapsed, it's not as bad as you think it is. If you need somebody to talk to, just pm me, we'll get in touch.

You've got my support,
Ivo

Thanks Ivo. I'm a little beat up right now, but I'll get back up... not like there's much else I can do :)

You have accomplished and built bigger things than most in here do not let stress and paypal take over you.

If you've already made some solid money coming in why don't you register your business??
I know it sucks to pay taxes but it is stupid to risk something that is already steady going, goverments are paying more attention lately to IM since in the end it is consider a ''job'' and way of income just like anybody that is sitting in an office.

Well it's kinda fucked. Now I don't know if I should register a business, because, how can I get money in my business bank account?

My Paypal is gone, where most of my money came in. I can't make a new Paypal account. Even if I made a business Paypal for my registered company, I would have to give personal information. But personally I'm banned on Paypal, so how long before they ban my business account too?

I started using a family member's Paypal, now that's suspended too. And even if it wasn't, I would have to, I don't know, withdraw the money to my family member's account and then fake an invoice or something in order to have my family member send me the money to my company's bank account as a "payment" for something. And I would lose money on that transaction too.

The cryptos, I ain't paying taxes on cryptos.

The Payoneer money, well, never mind that.

I mean, to register a company now, I would actually have to jump through hoops and lose money just to manage to transfer my money in my company's bank account.... and then pay taxes on that too.

This uncertainty is fucking killing me...

PayPal is a real pain in Ass. I got my all 3 accounts locked up.

Yeah, it totally fucking is. I have 2 accounts locked now. I'm looking to get away from Paypal. Use every other payment processor available.

Take a break , go vacations think well your next step , i like your idea to do something offline i am tired too online business lot of energy gone of me :( get over it

I am taking a little break. Not working 18 hours a day, working only 10 hours a day now :D

Paypal suspended my account for 6 month too, about 3k $

I have about $14k between 2 accounts now. Fuck me. 4 months and 6 months waiting..............

I know how difficult it can be to take a break in our line of business, but you won’t be any use to anyone until you get your head straight. I say you should hire someone capable to take over the brunt of your work, train them for a while, and wean yourself off of work. Then go take a vacation. Trust me, once you get a chance to clear your mind a bit, you’ll be ready to take over the world again.

No one can take over the brunt of my work. It's all so very... specific. At best someone could take over some minor peripheral things. But the main things, no way, it's all so very specific.

I don't know who said it, I think Warren Buffet, something along the line of, when I buy a business I make sure the systems are so simply that even an idiot could run them, because some day one will.

Well, my shit is complicated and "unique" at every turn, I couldn't possibly hire someone to take over the brunt of the work, there's just no way. Maybe I could hire a team of 5 people and train them for half a year, and then they could do it, sort of. But I don't make that kind of money. Plus, why should I share the spoils of war :D

Take a couple of days off. Tell yourself I am not clicking a single facking button on my computer for 3 days. Then come back and find a solution to your problem, as in find another way to accept money. There are thousands of other smm sellers out there who have overcome this, why can't you?

You've spent too much time building just to throw it all away because of paypal, that would be insanity.

Good luck my friend.

Thanks friend :)

Leave IM.

Hear me out. Internet marketing should never be an end, but simply a means to a next step. Nothing we are doing here is going to be permanent. Heck, I'd bet money that in five years, 95 percent of us will either be phased out of whatever profitable things we are doing, or we will burn out and do something different altogether.

IM is a fast-paced world where there is no downtime. It isn't the stock market or a 9-5 labor job. Things don't stop in the evening and pick back up in the morning. I would encourage anyone looking to start fresh or start over in this field to not. Do something tangible. Make something. Start a food truck. Hell, use that knowledge and capital to do anything here: https://sweatystartup.com/.

I guarantee you that, at the end of the day, you will feel far more fulfilled than sitting around being a middleman for social media services. Consider this an expensive learning moment. 1) Don't put all your eggs in one basket (PayPal). 2) Don't put all your energy into something that is fleeting (IM).

You may have wasted some of the best years of your life chasing this dream. But does it make you happy? If not, what is stopping you from doing what does?

That website looks pretty fucking interesting. I'll check it out, looks like an amazing read. I just glanced at it now, but I'll read more. Thanks dude.

Well, I'm not a middle man for all the social media services. For many I'm a supplier. Not that that's something golden either, or cheap, or automated haha

Definitely not putting all my eggs in one basket. Diversifying my payment processors. Though even that is a bit discouraging because I come from a country where a lot of the up and coming payment processors are simply not available (e.g stripe).

That's a good question there. Making money makes me happy. So then, what do I do? :)

life is full of ups and downs...never a smooth ride to eldorado. step back and reevaluate this whole shit.

I'll stick around for a while longer. At the end of the day, can't let Paypal bully me out of my business right.

So how do you get paid man? You stopped using Paypal, but you're banking online. How do you get paid? What payment processor/s are you using? Or rather, what payment methods do enough customers use to sustain your business and it's not Paypal?

It happens to everyone , failure is part of life. Change is good , if you are worn out try something else and come back with a different outlook.Take it as a blessings in disguise, maybe this failure will be a good thing later.

May be a blessing in disguise. Time will tell :)

Sell your laptop buy a brand new camera create a youtube account and travel around the world if u are good enough at your work, u will be rich and famous within 10 months

I don't wanna travel around the world, that's stupid. I'm not some retarded digital nomad :D

I don't wanna sell my lap top, I love my lap top. All 3 of them. And the PC :D

I don't wanna create a Youtube channel. Be at the mercy of fucking Youtube, get monetized/demonetized at their algorithm's whim. Get videos removed and strikes against me at their algorithm's whim. Fuck that.

There's no guarantees you'll be rich and famous within 10 months if you do that. It's like with anything else, a few winners, and a whoooole lot of losers :)

Relax for a few days, we all get tired and failures are inevitable.

Come back stronger.

That's what I'm doing actually, relaxing a little bit now :)

this is the price you pay as an Entrepreneur/IM, always there are and will be up and downs, up when you earn a lot of cash and downs when you wake up morning and found a Big Loss, if you do not want to pay that price, a 9-5 Job is waiting for you, and let me tell you the regular life is so annoying, paying more taxes and saving less money every month,

i have faced the same situation as you 3 times now. just lately got my latest Paypal account terminated, without any logic reason from them, selling from ebay currentely iam a power seller
spent night over night building that account, and i woke up a day on a Paypal Message saying -your account was terminated- and wait 180 days ...

Anyway ive learned the lesson the hard way.

What will i do next? Quit...NO NO, the same way i build the old business, will continue to build another one, maybe on different platfrom, changing my strategy, ...will do what it takes to build another stream of income, Same to you ;)

Yeah, I did 9-15, from 12-23 (years old). Just the thought of a 9-5 pretty much ensures I stay in IM 4 ever.

That said, if I went online I wouldn't go into 9-5. I'd start a business or something. Buy, sell, trade, whatever. Fuck 9-5... 9-5 doesn't go over well with my sleeping patterns. Sometimes I like to sleep 9-5. How can I work 9-5 if I'm sleeping 9-5. Won't work :D

I love it man. No quitting, let's do big things!

I watched a video the other day by a guy, and he was talking eBay and Paypal and stuff. It was pretty good.

Here, found it :)

Come on bro, after the difficulty comes the ease.
Im having bad times also and I'm working offline. But when I get home I always do my shit.
Just keep building your empire. You lost money, but not knowledge.

Thanks man. Keeping up :)

Actually, if you make money and you're not working somewhere or a registered business or whatever, the tax is about 48%. So, no! :)

Actually, how I'm dealing with it is no praise. I'm not eating, I'm sleeping a lot, and I'm playing games from the 90s that I've missed (Stronghold Crusader, Heroes of Might and Magic III, etc). So I'm not really dealing with it in an exemplary way. But, it's my process. I haven't played these games in years, and I missed them :D

But I'm still working, just barely keeping up, maintaining.

Evolve. I'd like to evolve :)

Frankly, I've been in business for about 4 years now, and for all intents and purposes I NEVER get chargebacks. Literally, never. Maybe 25 of them in 4 years, and out of those 15 were a misunderstanding and quickly rectified, and 10 of them I refunded. I'm very present, I work 24/7, I have very good customer support and I'm very reasonable, I build long-term relationships with my customers. People have no reason to do chargebacks. In 4 years I ran into 2 scammers. One of them bought some stuff from me, like 5 different digital products, then chargebacked them on Paypal, and listed the products for sale on Fiverr. That was about 3 years ago. And now the one from a few days ago, chargebacks for $1,280 :o

Yeah, I also hope Bitcoin and other cryptos BLOW UP. But I'm also guilty of not using cryptos and supporting it. I only started accepting cryptos 2 months ago when Paypal suspended my main account. I should have done it MUCH SOONER. I made a mistake, late to the party. But better late than never I guess :)

Man, can't tell you how many times I felt like this ;)

Lesson learned, next time come prepared.

It's inevitable to get charge-backs, very important clients accept TOS first where you cover yourself 100% first.

There are always ways around it ;)

Don't even go that path, it will only fuck shit more up!

You can't tell me you didn't already knew it would have been like that choosing that path, cat&mouse is part of the game.

Otherwise, lesson learned!

Actually, funny fact! I really enjoyed when I visited @MisterF and saw he and his misses were like me and sitting the majority of the day behind the computer :D

Man, Can't tell you how many times I have thought this!!! As I said above, "normal" life is so much fucking easier!! 110%!!! Then again, for me, I don't do so well with people that have a higher rank in any company and on top of that a boss that think they are all that while I would have fucking destroyed them if I wasn't working for them and they disrespect me.

You don't need big money ( depending on what you think is big) to build something.

For instance, I see a lot of marketers that want to earn big to buy some fucking super car, big villa, show off their shit..I really don't give a fuck about any of that! I want to earn just enough to buy some land, build a cheap ass crazy house and be self sufficient away from society ;)

Anyway bruh, this is just a phase where you had to vent because you can't do it IRL and I totally get you man, I feel the same!

Bro hug :D

ps: tell me where you live so I can kick you in the nutz!!

Hang in there OP. It's good to write things down like this, it helps you think about them more and especially see that you are not alone. One minute everything is going well and you're making decent money and then by the time you wake up the next morning everything has been shut down or a change on a site you used in a method means that it all comes to a halt. It will be good motivation to adapt which I'm sure you will. The skills you have learned will help you transition into whatever you do next, whether it be online or offline.

The posts by @Billy Batts and @Sherb really hit home with me and I'm sure they will help you think about things moving forward too.

Let your parents get the apartment and write to your name

Never knew that but thnx.

Now I gotta ask, is that @Neon on your lap?

Stuff like this is very hard to go through. But trust me dude, if you go through this, you'll come out stronger and smarter. You got all that experience and knowledge in how to create something that gets you customers. The thing that killed you in the end was having only one way to get paid. You couldn't know this would happen to you ( there are a lot of paypal horror stories but look at how many people use paypal, those horror stories are in the minority)

I would take a break and get yourself together. Tell yourself what your ambition is (building something) Start over , and make sure the thing that ended your previous career won't be your downfall anymore. You were clearly doing well in the customer/service department. Im sure you can do it again.

Edit: and remember, the most successful people failed multiple times. Heck, some literally were in debt -40k to a 100k before becoming what they are today.
