How to find your niche?

Hi guys. I m really struggling with finding a good niche to than go forward. I m really stuck here.
I already made a list of my passions but still no good results. I have knowledge of researching keywords and competitions to see if my sub-niches will be successful or not. But I just can't find one...
Some help here, please? what tools should I use?

Obviously go with your interests, however I use nichereaper which gives lots of info.

If you have done everything but still stuck up then its better to find out your problems and go for those solutions only. Trying different things will not help you.

I would have to go with a list of interests and then hit the keyword research hard and see what will work and what won't. Then it comes down to just comparing the areas that work against one another for competition and traffic. Easiest one with most traffic wins. Use excel and keep all your data so you can have a few going in the future. When your first one makes money and you start hitting the green put that money into another one and keep the chain going till you own a revenue site portfolio. As they start going down hill either rejuvenate them or sell them off and build more.

If you're looking for product/Amazon affiliate niches then I always recommend checking out the hobbies section on Wikipedia. Hobbies are great as they are usually evergreen and people love spending money on their hobbies.

Pick one and research. See if there's search volume buy doing a simple search for best x. With X being a popular item used in that hobby. E.g. we pick fishing. Then choose something obvious like best fishing rod. Do a few terms and make a note of the authority sites and the sites that tend to rank for major terms. What's their authority's like, metrics such as backlinks, RD, social following etc.

A great sign is when you see micro niche sites popping up and dominating. No major players in the game and just low authority sites ranking.

It depends on what you are planning with your blog...as a passionate writer..or a guy who wants to make good money...so ask yourself this..what you really want? It helps...also check the passion list once again..you will get it.. All the best!!

I think the Keywords Everywhere plugin is great (also available for Firefox)... but read first what you allow IF you install the plugin. Like modification of your browser's history and more. Not sure I wanted this...

You can try Google Trends. Also problem solving method is a great way to start. Fairly easy to advertise as well.
