[Need Help] Why my Videos not ranking by keywords?

I started a YT channel and it is 10 days old. I uploaded 10 videos (daily one video).

I'm getting 1k - 2k legit views for each video. But my videos getting traffic from "Suggested videos" not by Youtube search. Actually my keywords are very low competitive and i expecting high number views if my keyword ranks.

Is it normal for new channels or i'm i missing anything?

I created blogspot and tumblr blogs and embedding my videos everyday and sharing my videos on reddit.

Why you are annoyed i think getting views from suggested videos is a good thing, i wish i could get that amount of views from suggested videos !
Anyway do not worry be patient at least you are doing well be getting those suggested views.

The fact that you were using a very low competition keyword means the search amount for that keyword is low. That is why you are not getting much searches from Youtube. However you are getting a good amount of suggested views which means your video metrics are good like viewer retention, CTR etc.

There are 3 factors that comes in play here:

1. Your YT channel is pretty fresh, so it may take some time. Here the suggested views can help boost your video/channel reputation in YT's eyes and you may start to get some ranlinfs pretty soon. For this, analyse your competition for how many views they have for a similar video to get ranked on a keyword, this can give you a fair estimate of where you stand.

2. Make sure you are usingh the correct keywords. Use mix of long tails and short keywords and also put your competitors channel name in your tags. It can also be the case that your CTR for the keywords you are using is pretty low for the search thing and hence you're not able to rank fast enough.

3. As mentioned above, the search volume is low, so it may take some time. Just keep getting the suggested views.

Advice:- Don't just look at YouTube. You should also optimise your tags for Google search rankings. If your video gets ranked for a medium search keyword on google, it will get shot ton of reputation in YT eyes once the Google views start pouring.

I'm targeting 2 keywords and monthly searches are below and i'm using both keywords in video title, description, and tags. When i search for the keyword my video is showing in between 19 to 30 position
Keyword 1: 19500 Competetion 0.01
Keyword 2: 98500 Competetion 0.00

Basically, you just go to Google trends (or you can use any paid keyword tool, but for our purpose, I believe google trends would suffice) and search for your keywords (select your target geography and select web results).

Now see if your keyword has some search volume and then scroll down to see related keywords (they show top 25)

Now, check those related key phrases and compare their volume to your main keyword.

Finally, use some of the high or good volume keywords from these in your title/description/tags and you should be good to go.

It's not a good idea to rank videos on a 10-days old channel. Be patient and enjoy traffic from suggestions. Work on the channel/videos.

I found some of the long tail keywords in google trends

ex: "today new smartphone release", "2019-2020 best smart phone under 100 dollar"

So can i directly copy those long tail keywords in description like below is?

today new smartphone release,

keep your keyword in the title,write a description of minimum 1000 words,remember your keyword should be repeat in the description at least 5-6 times.your first tag should be your focus keyword,That's it.

But i read somewhere that adding multiple keywords in description causes YT treat it as spam. So adding multiple long term keywords don't cause any issue to my channel right?

Nah its fine as long as you don't put it like keyword 1, keyword 2, keyword 3... Make a meaningful sentence out of it and it should be fine

Another important point @dorasdr You should search for keywords with buyer intent, for example " where to buy xxxxx" "best xxxx" "xxxx review" which means these persons are searching for stuff to buy. Those are the kind of keywords that will make you money.
