Sold a website - Now what?

I just don't know if a new shop has a budget but I'll try to sell the services we have in our marketplace with a markup.
Don't try to calculate this in terms of 'website budget', as though it's some kid's side project, the website itself and the upsells would be art of the marketing budget as a whole. And without a marketing budget, there's no customers.

I'm sure this company has no trouble paying thousands a month for their space, another thousand or two for the sign out front, hundreds more for utilities, hundreds for business cards and print ads, and so on. if their remaining marketing budget is in the tens of dollars monthly to cover the entirety of their online presence, convince them to raise it.

Haha I just see a new opportunity and you should never say no to that. I might not turn a profit on this but I'm banking on the fact that when businesses have websites, they probably will never take it down. If I could have redone my offer, I would probably have changed the 150$ per year to something like 39$ per month. I'm not worried about the low offer, this forum has my back with all the advice I have already received. This is kinda like a new journey and if I figure this out, who knows, maybe 1 client will become 100 clients and then everything changes. Gotta start somewhere.

I am up in Canada. Frenchie area.
If you need a hand, I do website for small client & I do digital marketing full time.

Im a montreal frenchie. Hit me up.

You're right, I should at least offer all of the options and explain the importance of proper SEO and other services as an upsell.

Definitely no SEO at the price I offered. It will be a very basic responsive site at that price. Images and content is being provided by the customer too, though I will probably need to find a better slider picture. I will see next week.

Thank you to those who also offered to help me build the site. Pretty great community we have here. I'd be in much worst shape without everyone's feedback.

200 for a website is low af.

750 minimum for a 3 page fully responsive dynamic site should be what you charge.
