exclude Introductions and Lounge from home page

As title says, sometimes I enter home page and I see bullshit lounge threads or introductions like "hi, I am James"

Terrible idea, why not welcoming new members ? Just because you dont like doesnt mean its bullshit or everybody dont like it.

haha, yeah I don't like it but I am not talking about removing sections, just from home page to have more place for regular threads

Anyway, why we need introduction section. To see post "hi, I am Gupta from Mumbai"? This was good on the begining to build community.

I see requests such as this a lot, home page is the eternal source of all this BHW. Why not look at your watched forums instead if you don't want to see specific forums. https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/forums

I posted an alternative way of viewing the subforums you want in my post quoted below.

You already can subscribe to specific subforums.

Go to the subforum you're interesting in and click the "watch forum" button.



As for making the homepage personalised, I've seen a lot of threads on this topic before, and they all end with the answer "it's not going to happen".

With a bit of tweaking, you can also use these links to view the threads you're interested in. I wrote up a guide for it somewhere, give me a few minutes to find it.
