Hey anyone know how to trigger email verification?

I bought an account from a marketplace guy, but it asks for the code sent to the phone instead of the email code it was supposed to ask on the first login.

It wasn't stated that it's a PVA acc, he sent the original email and I was supposed to get verified with it.

Have you paid of the service or Claimed a freebie ?
If its a freebie claimed, there is nothing much you can do other than writing a Honest Review.
If you have paid, contact the Seller, ask him the code and get things done. Always go through the rules and regulations of the Marketplace before buying or selling things. Now a days, having 2 way verification is quiet common, it asks you to verify by sending a code to your phone even if you clean your browser and then login. what do you expect changing a location will do ? If the seller is a genuine guy, and you surely paid for the service, he will help you out, if not Read the Rules of the Marketplace( i Hope you did read everything before buying, its the Green threads in all sections with Do's and Don't) and contact the right authorized person for advice.

Yea it was a mistake, I got offered other accounts or a refund but I just wait for this one to get cleaned from that verified number.

If you don't have an email attached to the IG account and you have only Phone number it will request verification via Phone. You can't request verification via email since you don't have an email there. So, verify it via Phone, then login, add the email, erase the phone number and done. You MUST verify the account via Email right after you add the email
