When you say it hasnt been indexed, you have searched site:mysite.com and no pages show up?
If it is a Wordpress site, check what your site address is, ie www.mysite.com or http://mysite.com
Is your sitemap configured and imported into Google Webmaster Tools?
Add all variations (http, https, www, non-www) of your site to search console. Submit your sitemap. Create content and post it on social media. Google will find and index links itself. If you want even faster indexing, submit urls for indexing.
**If Google didn't index after all these steps, then check for manual actions.
I had the same problem last week.
Check if you have got a sitemap and a robots.txt setup properly.
In the address bar type these and hit enter. www.yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml
and then check for www.yourwebsite.com/robots.txt
If they show up, that's fine if not let us know.
I know this might be a dumb thing to check, but are you sure it doesnt have any noindex tags? I had this setting on in wordpress once when it was under development. I noticed after a week of when I thought it was supposed to be live that I forgot to remove the hide website option.
