Hi
Is there a good way to drive traffic (and make sales of course) while getting money through Bitcoin?
Im not entirely sure this is the thread for this but it is related to dropshipping so I put it here

I want to create a site or work with some sort of platform with payments received by Bitcoin.
What is the best way to drive traffic (not just traffic but effective traffic as I want sales) - Lets assume my prices are attractive enough for that matter (a few dollars below Amazon for example)

With only Bitcoin as a payment method your conversion rate would be too low. You need credit card payment gateway.

I can do paypal and others too but the sum to be received will be higher and way less attractive to buyers
For example (not actual prices but its for the explanation) - Price of Apple Ipods on Amazon 288$
Price on the site 280$ price for paypal 310$

comparing prices to amazon would be ur first mistake, comparing to alibaba/xpress would be more beneficial, but using bitcoin as the only payment is only going to drive people with bitcoin already. i mean, would u bother finding out what a bitcoin wallet is, putting ur credit card details on another site then jumping back to the original site just to save $2?

If you will sell the same products everyone can find on Amazon and the only advantage would be the price, you won't get any sale. And if you only want to use Bitcoin payments, the conversion rate will be close to zero.

Alibaba/xpress cannot be compared as they dont sell big brands (unless they are Chinese) - If you find something on Alibaba/express and its a big brand - its either going to be at least as expensive as Amazon or a fake and everyone know it..

Didnt quite get what you are saying
If someone sells the same thing Amazon has but for less than the Amazon price why exactly there wont be sales?! I mean if its 1 or 2 dollars I understand but if its 10$ and more why not?
as for the BTC I understand that its a bit problematic - This is why I ask what exactly can I do to drive effective traffic?

I mean I can probably go around 15% off for a bitcoin payment

:D if you sell sex toys then bitcoin is a good option:D Other than that i found no reason to pay with bitcoin since its too risky.

The majority of people hopping on the dropshipping bandwagon lose money you'd be making it even harder for yourself by only accepting crypto. Its not even close to mainstream enough.

So in theory? Yes. But I'd bet against you.

Ask the question yourself, would you buy from Amazon for $100 or on the website you visit the first time and never seen before for $90? I think most people will buy from Amazon as they trust them more.
I don't think you can drive effective traffic, you need to target people interested in your products and in BTC which decreases potential audience drastically.

everyone knows it... everyone that is wise and internet knowledgable that is. the average person wouldnt know the difference and see that cheaper is better(if generic stuff like phone, tech, basic clothes), but ur right, if its top brand then it wouldnt be on ali, but do u think people would go "i want that nike shirt, oh, they only take crypto unlike the other 50million websites, they must be more reputable." with the hassle it would cause for the 'average joe' just using crypto isnt viable. IF for example you offered a cheaper alternative through crypto AND an option for paypal(but tell the customer its cheaper by crypto) then it may work in your favour, but that'd be the only way to keep the income steady

You can manually integrate BTC Payments. Every website have their own documentation for integration.
