Finished my first quiz, 10 questions 4 possible answers i'm doing another 9 series of ten questions

going to finish my home page and start attaching the quizzes to the pages/posts, not quite sure yet?

If you run paid ads to drive traffic to your quizzes the ad creative may have an effect on how many clicks it will attract.
If you're just sharing links to popular communities it will not have an as big effect as it has with the paid ads.

Are advertisers ok with us showing a new ad after every answer? Does this even count towards CPM when they're on the screen for sometimes just seconds

It is very easy to earn money with quiz sites. But to build a quiz site properly it needs hard work, effort, knowledge and many other things.

Advertisers are actually happy about it. User only sees ad when the advertiser is targeting user with the ad, therefore if the ad is served - it is served up to advertisers setup and needs and it won’t be served otherwise.

It is very easy to earn money with quiz sites. But to build a quiz site properly it needs hard work, effort, knowledge and many other things.

Check the first page of this thread I explain there how to make good quizzes without going crazy.

If you mean setup where ad networks compete for the highest bid - you’d need an ad server for that or set it up via passback.

I guess i must be doing something wrong. I made a WordPress website which is getting about 10.000 page views daily and i'm making about 0.50$ daily from ads. I put ads on sidebar, after header and in the end of post. Page is refreshed after each question is answered. Any hints what should I change to earn more?

edit: and i have tested different ad networks; exoclick didnt work well, chitika is much better and i'm testing adblade & infolinks right now.

USA. Atm for today i have 3.5k page views and 1.2k is from USA, second place is UK, then Canada and Australia.. So i have no idea whats wrong

A lot depends on what plugin you are using, as most of the plugins do not have ad settings in them and are simple quizzes, which means they are not made for ad monetization, but made only for quiz purposes only.

Exoclics and Chitika are bad - I would stay away as far as possible from those networks, so this may be another reason why you get bad results.

It also depend on the ad network used and ad units visibility. There are many variables that may affect the CPM rate.

Plugin or ad issue most probably. Check results in a few days with adblade (infolinks won't work well).

The thing is if the user is on the mobile, the sidebar is down the page so mostly they don't even see it. I got like 75 cents yesterday from Adblade, many page views, not so many clicks.

Which ad networks do you suggest? I'm waiting for adsense approval.

Yes, that is how it's supposed to work, but the result shows something isn't working right on your end.
The ad networks you mentioned have very low rates, and not good networks. I believe even AdSense (that also has very low rates) has better rates.

On very simple setup about 1k users bring $20+, but again, you can have $50-$100 with the same 1k people if you have multiple ad networks fighting for each ad impression.

Basically, you made an ad passback..ad network that have better rate will show up on ad banner. Also it help to reduce blank ads.
