Like famous people have it so that people know who the real account is.
I think it is funny tho that they sell it for 400$ considering they have made it so easy to get it.

If you read the discripton it's not as easy as just paying and getting it you have to fit a Certain criteria due to Instagram rules


From there discripton
Public figure : Designer, Painter, Actor, Model, Social activist, entrepreneur, Musician, Sports person etc :

Instagram Eligibility : 10-12 articles in national news blogs, their name should be mentioned within the title of the article! wikipedia is added advantage. Less popular figure should have their facebook verified first.

- Profile should be public
- Time: 5 hours to 6 working days (except saturday and sunday)

Policy Department : Politician (MLA, ex- MLA, MP, ex-MP, Cabinet or state ministry, Police department)


Eligibility : ID Proof of Lok sabha or State assembly, Website URL for Police Department. Having few articles is added advantage. (Wikipedia for Politician is mandate)

This begs the question for Marketplace mods for when a service should be re-reviewed. I remember somewhere that it is when the price increases 30%... but what about "new add-ons" such as this? What is stopping those sellers whose average order would be ~$50 or so from offering services like the above for $500+, getting ten orders, and then disappearing without delivering?

Getting named in a title of a national newspaper is pretty hard getting named in 10/12 different articles by the press is near on impossible unless your a public figure ect

With the kind of requirements they're asking, getting a verification badge shouldn't be too hard (possibly just a request away?) I wonder what happens to the people who order and don't have the requirements, do they get their money back?

For anyone thinking that it's that easy. Pay close attention to Reading Comprehension - "10-12 articles in national news blogs, their name should be mentioned within the title of the article".

Any of your accounts are about a real person, product or business that has been in the national news, in 10-12 different news media sites? If not, then, no way, no how, that you are getting a badge unless you know the person inside Instagram/Facebook that applies those badges.

End of story.

I'm thinking its a 'trick' per-say. Is anyone on BHW verified on IG?.......... If so.. can you change your name once verified?

I bet after they get verified on IG, they change the username and info and such. Maybe IG doesn't patrol verified accounts as heavily.??

I don't think this company is doing anything wrong, just assisting with an application process that Instagram already has!
(Most people could not get verified, but if you are a minor celebrity, then maybe these guys can help you get the blue tick)

But it does pose the question to how we could 'hack' the verification process now that we know the guidelines. It may well be possible to buy articles etc. Interesting...

if theyre a well known SMM provider then it could be legit but I would always use an escrow service like escrow.com so they only release the funds once the job is actually done

This is a valid point. Not sure if any of the review staff manage such public figures. @BassTrackerBoats might as he seems to have a past life of doing business in nearly every space.

First thing all those smm panels selling verification badge from 400$ -2000 $ are completely bull****

Real people who have been mentioned/featured in 10-12 news publications do not need to buy those services as Instagram app itself has verification form now & if someone legit with 10-12 featured news can do it themselves,It's not hard.They just ask for Name & Some documents.

I work with influencers who verified themselves like that ,No issues at all.It's just that Instagram system is messed up little,Sometimes they verify account within 1 day ,sometimes they take 1 week,2 weeks.

I am just curious if these smm panels can verify without those 10-12 News/Publications mention or not.

If they can verify without requirement then no issue in paying that but If they can't then go to he** & should stop offering those kind of scam services
