Expired domain skips sandbox?

I know there is a debate If sandbox exists or not but my question is let's say
we have a new domain and an expired domain in the same niche.

If I build a website on a new domain, most people agree on that I have to wait at least 2 months to get the website ranked on its kws.

If I use an expired domain, can I bypass this period?

There is no sandbox. You merely get a bonus the older your website is. If you use expired/auction domains, you get boost because of their existing backlink profiles, not because of their age.

All of the keywords belong to one website. They all jumped from #60 to the Top 3. What did hold on them on page 5 for so long? And what made them all go to Page 1?

I literally said that in the post above. You received age benefit, backlinks got counted, etc. There is nothing preventing you from ranking. There is no sandbox. You merely get a benefit the older your site is and you rank better. If you want to call that sandbox, be my guest, but it's not.

Well, it took me around 6-8 weeks from a brand new domain to this results. Its not long, especially not for a brand new domain. What bugs me is it was on page 5/6 all the time and suddenly all the keywords started ranking at the same time.

Yes, I did build links. I took it easy and build up to two backlinks per day. Around 3-4 PBN links (I try to keep it as low as possible)

Define bad SEO please. Low quality backlinks links? Over optimization? All together? If I would do bad SEO I don't think I would rank at all.

In my opinion it is just a matter of authority. If a website got authority the website/domain will handle new keywords in a much different way. From a brand new domain Google will just evaluate your website and it can take a pretty long time.

Your question was if a expired domain skips the sandbox: Yes, it is possible, but you will need a good expired domain. If you got a decent expired domain it will have an advantage over the brand new domain. Just make sure its in the same niche, got good backlinks and has a clean history.

I think this is the point we need to focus on. It looks like an algorithm of Google decided suddenly to rank your website for all of your kws

If they had jumped to the 1st page at different times, we may have said that Google doesn't care about the age of a website. But they all jumped to 1st page at the same time right.

It is clear something was triggered and your website suddenly got ranked.

I just bought an auction domain and it is still not ranking. Is that normal? I rebuilt the site with the old content it had and now publishing new stuff, but the rankings are still not showing up

Just bought an expired domain on auction with a perfect backlink profile, all clean with high dr contextually relevant sites linking to it.

It has been around to weeks since I acquired the domain. I restored all the old posts to keep the link juice.

Now I have been posting one new article a day for 2 weeks. Content is still not ranking but properly indexed.

Do you think even a good expired domain still has an interval of time where google evaluates if it should rank or not?

Sandbox doesn't exist. It simply takes time to rank. You will rank faster and better with expired domains, but it will still take ages.

Also, what kind of expired domain? Some 10RD trash or some 500RD powerhouse? That's a significant difference.

Edit: Jesus christ, 2 weeks. Wait 2 months or half a year and then get concerned. This has been covered dozens of times here.

You work on SEO projects on the scale of years, not weeks.

Strangest thing with me I haven't ever experienced this indexing issue with any of the sites I have created in my entire IM career since 2014.
Only the foundation links have caused me indexing issues that too in recent years.
Whenever I read it I feel blessed

Now that we are talking about this,

I am trying to recover all the historical links from the domain and there´s a DR90 link from a decor site that is still not showing up.

The link is there, in the source code and in ahrefs

I have tried running those links that aren´t showing up through and indexer

But still no luck, do you know what else can be done to recover them??
