Looking for recommendations: payment processor

Hey BHW,

I am looking for a payment processor to start a project where I need to automatically bill a monthly subscription fee.
It is a side business so I want to keep the fixed costs as low as possible. This means the payment processor should be free from monthly fees but therefore the transactions fees could be higher.
The system should be easy to set up and easy to integrate into an existing website.

I need your recommendations since there are so many different processors and I cannot see the wood for the trees.
I am open to every solution.

You may have to add an addon for the subscription bit, but it's possible. I love Stripe.


Also, if anyone mentions Paypal, they get banned for 3 lifetimes.

They also have support for the payment processor that must not be named (@Society Girl )

I've personally used it for a couple of projects and everything was ok, your website needs to pass manual review though, so keep that in mind.
