Hey guys,
Does anyone have a good resource for local links? Not talking about regular citations (yelp, yp etc) but good do follow links
States: florida, indiana, maryland.
Niche: garage doors, locksmith

Thanks!

Scrapebox can do that for you @loopline will tell you everything you want to know. Also do Press Realeases, they rank local stuff in a second

I have a relative that runs a company in Indiana.

I just grabbed some expired domains that had authority links from local places. Like the library, the town welcome center, town government type pages etc.... If they linked out to an expired domain, grab that, rebuild it and then link to your site.

I mean at that point its not just "get a link" its run an expired domain network, which is an endevour in and of its self, but a lot of times with local stuff you don't need much boost. My relatives competitor that sits at the top of google has a whopping 1 link from a local source and it ranks him.

Why have I not taken over the competitor spot you ask? Because I got fed up with my relative because I have spent literally thousands of dollars in time and resources, like a 5 figure sum and I can't get them to even help me. They won't lift a finger. I literally got them 1/3 of their B2B business and they won't help me market their business.

So I got fed up and let everything expire and I don't help them anymore. You can't help some people.

Anyway, the premise is sound enough, if you do it right.

Else I would check out the below video. Keep in mind that this is a THEORY video, designed to get you thinking, then you just have to apply it in a local situation.

Press release service recommendations?
No I don't. I have done press releases in the past, and they are a good resource, but I haven't really done any in a while. You can google for something like

site:blackhatworld.com where to buy press releases 2019

or something like that. Probably some services here in the BST, but there are others too.

Like I had a service for a while that would get you published in the new york times for like $1000 or other ones, so you kind of have to way risk vs reward.
