Making cash with fast writing ?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently thinking of spending my week-ends in order to set up some side-business online and make some bucks so I was reviewing the forum and collected a few methods, still waiting to see if I find some more interesting ones and decide on which one I will make my own.

But then an idea came to my mind, because I've been using a computer all-day for more than 10 years now, I am able to write very fast, my best score on 10fastfingers is 141WPM.

So I was wondering if you guys have any idea on how I can put this little "skill" of mine to use in order to make some moolah ?

Maybe you could find some type of VA work, like posting blog/forum comments or something similar. Then again, writing is more about quality rather than speed. How good are you at writing ? Perhaps you can offer writing services for $.

No no I don't want to be a content writer, I should have wrote "typing" instead of "writing" in the title. I just want to know if I can get paid because I type* fast !

Check www.upwork.com , www.Postloop.com , www.iwriter.com. You can also start your own free blog at wordpress.com and write whenever you get some time, It will serve as a good portfolio to show your new clients.

Hi, first thanks for your answer. Could you please elaborate a little ? I'm not from America so I'm not familiar with this "data entry" stuff, when I search for it in my language I don't find anything that has to do with typing. Also not sure what VA services are...

The prices are not much considering the fact that there is heavy competition from South & South East Asian countries - India, Philippines, Indonesia etc...who bid around $3 - $6 per hour, depending on the scope of work.
