I have project with local towing and help on road services. When people need help on road they use Google to get contacts of local towing service provider and here I am.

Local competition is very high and I allways need to stay at the top of the page, becouse our clients need fast help they 99% click and contact only first position ADS.

What bid strategy should I use? Becouse now I'm using Lead Conversions bidding strategy and only have few expensive clicks, but no calls/contact :)

if you have lot of competitors then try to use have and raise your quality score which will allow you pay less for your clicks then perhaps you could goto campaign bidding settings and set a new strategy for first page location, if you try this with low quality score or you will have to raise budgets and pay more to stay on top or use a very similar keyword with less competition but with a good search volume, anyways exist lot of ways

It's more than bid strategy. You need to have great ads.

I'm sure most, if not all, services have plain ads that all pretty much say the same thing. As a consequence, they all have around an average QS. Since they all know you need to be first, there's a kind of bidding war to get the top spot. That's why towing services CPC is high.

What you have to do is differentiate yourself in your ads. Offer something others don't. You'll still need to be at the top or second position so at first, you'll still need to bid the high going rate. But as your QS increases, you'll have a higher impression share and your CPC will go down.

So what will make more people click your ad? Put yourself in your client's shoes. Sure, they need help right away. My guess is most ads say they'll be there quickly but it has to be more than that. Be creative. If I'm waiting in the cold, a cup of hot chocolate would be nice when you get there. Say you're like a friend. An incentive that would work on me is being invited to your suite at a baseball game. Like I said, be creative, offer benefits and the clicks will follow.

Adding to what's been said above

Bidding above the topmost domain is cool to weigh other bidding strategies and see if its profitable or not

You didn't state if this was a cal! Only ads too

Try adding negative keywords to reduce your bidding cost

The first thing you have to do is to optimise your landing page.

After that i would suggest to change to enchanced cpc to gain enough data and then change to an automated bidding type.
