Question about Google Trends for product research

Hi guys,

Anyone having experience using Google Trends for product research willing to give a little help?
I would highly appreciate
I want to use Google Trends for product research.

If we take a look at fidget spinners, we know that is a dead trend looking from last 5 years and last year, but if we switch to 7, 30 or 90 days it looks trendy and makes you wanna sell it.
Each period of time gives a different result.

I want to know which period of time is best to select when looking for a trending product, and what other criteria to look for.

I will suggest you 30 days periods, trends change from month to month

Cause' trends are really short, 4 years for what you want to do is quite useless I think

I guess you need short periods like max 30 days to ride the trend wave...if it happens that you catch a tsunami wave, than it`s even better
