Hi Everyone,

I'm rebuilding a site that had all the URL slugs like this:

/howtobakeacake.html

I changed it to WordPress so now it's:

/howtobakeacake

I did all the 301 redirects from .html pages to the new

But now I'm questioning...

should I structure the URLs better now like:

/how-to-bake-a-cake

or should I just leave it how it is... the pages have been without spaces for 10 years...

Any input I appreciate,

Thanks

Good URL don't change however this is a bad one you would do G a favor to fix it but a change in URL will result in lost of power.

This is the ideal URL structure for Google, however, how strong is the backlink profile of these pages? Are they already ranking?
Yes already ranking good.

I think so too.

Depends how well they are already ranking, backlinks etc.
Already ranking with years of links pointed to those so I'm thinking just leave them how they are.

I'll just keep them as they are, no point in changing more than I have to which may just create less indexing... thanks everyone for your answers
