I know some of you have been keeping up with me lately on some users copying my exact website theme/design and content... Just wanted to give an update:

UPDATE:

DMCA contacted the first site today for my Copyright Claimed case. I am happy to hear they are agreeing to remove. It was super easy, also they have a tool where I can scan my website and it will scan all sites on Google to find other sites that are duplicating mine! I found out, there are 19 sites already... Can't wait to see all of them be taken down!

Thanks for all the tips when I asked them previously.

There is a step by step guide on the website! They also have a live chat.

Look for the DIY option for the free option. (It's still effective, you just do the work yourself instead of paying someone to do it)
 
Here he goes again. Yes I can see your website with its huge 40 a month traffic is highly desirable for website pirates.

However I am glad to see you have finally started to pay for ads (a whole 100 visitors a month) instead of pretending ye olde 20m spent on traffic.

The only reason why there would be 19 similar sites, is in fact because your website is a cheap script that can be purchased by anyone.
 
Don't count your chickens just yet. If these companies file a counter-DMCA, they will be restored to full functionality, and further DMCAs on the same infringement will have no effect.

If you choose to fight the counter-DMCA to enforce the takedown, the next step is federal court, and in almost all cases the sites will remain active until after the final ruling. If you lose that case, you will be forced to pay full legal costs, as well as any damages incurred by the initial takedown.

Thanks for sharing with us but i curious , how about happen some owners go for the Same website designer? He/she surely reuse the same theme, layout for the customers , isn't their website naturlaly all look the same .

Is every post of yours on BlackHatWorld either a meme or an attack on someone personally? Contribute some worthwhile content instead of harassing other members. This is just completely inappropriate. Is it out of jealousy that other users are more successful than you? OP came to share some interesting information and encouragement and tools for others who may be having some difficulties. OP has an extremely valuable domain name, it is very likely they have spent a lot of money in this industry. OP dropped $500 USD on marketplace seller status, that's not nothing. I just don't get it man.

In that case, the designer would be the legitimate copyright owner, and the person filing the DMCA would be committing several crimes, including fraud and perjury.

Some people new to negative SEO will abuse DMCAs to take out the competition, but they tend to back down quickly when they realize that they could face steep fines, or even jail time for repeat offenses.
 
@SMMnet Im sorry to say, but the first panel owner with more balls than you, that will take you to court - you are going broke my friend.

And I`ll explain;
1. You RENT this panel script, nothing owned by you ( only the domain )
2. You have hired a coder for that work, same coder that did the other panels, both of you own 0 of this ( we can argue about the text but it is not the point )
3. Your pics mostly hosted on IMGUR, which is for PUBLIC use.
4. PerfectPanel (where most of your competitors/copies hosted) , is RU based and they dont give a fk about DMCA.

Why you are spending your time and energy?
Those who copy cannot copy and create at the same time, if you are focused on the creation and expanding, stay on that level and keep growing.

I'm not concerned about the cost it takes to keep my work protected.

This is just not true at all. Just because an image is posted to IMGUR does not give anyone the right to use it for whatever they want. The copyright owner still owns the copyright.

Nothing was done ESPECIALLY for him, and that's the point.
Free & Public images, now tell me again that the copyright owner still owns the copyright.
No trademark or copyright issues here.
