Can you sort search results?

I can't seem to sort after I search threads by keyword. Am I missing something? That seems like a nice feature to have.

By default, the search box will order the results by Relevance. If you click 'More' for the advanced search page, near the bottom you can select "Order By: Most Recent".

There are several older threads suggesting that the Most Recent search order should be default, but none have any admin response.
