Hey Guys,

I want to know if I built 1000 accounts on pinterest all at the same time, all via follow/unfollow, all in different niches, all with different IP's, how would YOU monetize it?

I am thinking of having a content site, or image site (similar to imggur) and having all images on there, then having each account "Save" the url from the website directly via the Save button so it gets added to the Pins of that account for their followers to see. Do you think this method would get all the accounts banned since they would ALL be pinning things from a single URL? They would not all be done at the exact same time, probably over a week, each page Saving a completely different image/url the only thing that would be the same is the domain.

Would love to hear what YOU would do :)

Yes the probability is high the accounts will be banned. One Pinterest account should pin ideally from one url. More than one url is a risk and it is only a matter of time before the ban hammer falls

but I see giant accounts what have 1 content account gets thousands of Saves from other smaller accounts. They don't get banned. So what's the difference?

The difference is that Pinterest ranks a pin higher when it has a lot of saves(repins) , which means that it is a good pin. So what those smaller accounts are doing is repining the pin of the main account so that it goes viral, they are not creating it. There is a difference between pinning(creating a pin) and repining(saving a created pin) . But if all those small accounts are pinning from one site then they will get banned quickly. But even when repining with smaller accounts you have to try to make it look natural to pinterest because if they find out all the smaller accounts will still get banned.

so instead of repinning 1 post from a main account, what if 1000 small pages Create a Pin to a news site (all different article url but same domain) would that be better?
