people say "3 bots per IP is the safe limit".

does that mean running 3 at the same time? or 3 bots in different time slots like 8 hours each?

You can run 24/7, 3 accounts for one IP, but you need to stay safe with limits of follow/unfollow.

thx for the replies
what if i am only doing likes? no follows. what is the safe limit these days for likes?

former. a lot of households theoretically can have a few family members/roommates who may be on instagram at the same time NAT'd behind one router/IP

Indeed, but these families do not do follow-unfollow and other automation tasks.

When they say 3 bots per IP, they refer to the maximum number of accounts per IP.

Moreover, as a rule of thumb, it doesn't matter when your accounts are active, just try to make them behave in a human way. And yes, this means to make them idle for a few hours per day. And it doesn't matter if these hours are common for your accounts or if one account sleeps while the other two are working.
