Playing on Pinterest

Good luck on your journey.

Which software are you using for automation?

I've dabbled in Pinterest a while ago and I made some money with amazon affiliates. I want to go back to it since I need to branch out but now I would like to automate a handful of accounts sending traffic to a site with adsense. Not sure which automation software I should look into though.

I use custom scripts because it'll hook into other projects easier that way. I think Jarvee and Tailwind are the common choices for Pinterest other than that but I haven't tried either to give a recommendation.

Discovered a bug somewhere in the code causing posting to be a lot slower than it should be, going to try and hunt that down later today.

Metrics are still a little over the show but I'm currently getting around 2-300 views a day from Pinterest. It's actually possibly higher than that but my analytics are a little out for some sites. It has spiked closer to 5-600 a day after a board share or two.

Not changing anything for the moment. Just letting it churn away doing its own thing. Over the next couple of weeks I plan to start scaling that a bit and targeting double the number of niches.

the bset way is study how it all works , join up and give it a go before boting .

not every platform is for everyone you might hate it .
Do you use hashtag ? Some members claim it don't work in Pinerest , is more on description of the pin

That's my boy!!!! We gonna change the game with Pinterest ;)

which one software is best software for pinterest botting

Alrighty. So a couple of updates.

I dug through some of the stats to see what was going on. There's a definite rise in traffic overall in the last couple of weeks. I did discover a bug in my code which will have caused things to be slower than they should have been but that's fine. I've had some pretty big spikes in traffic as my pins wind up on some popular boards.

Conversions are certainly happening but while some of your traffic is finding you by searching a niche or keyphrase on Pinterest - it's still interrupted traffic really. There may be buyers on there for physical products but for anything else you're really going to need to take them through a funnel and warm them up before pitching. This is probably why so many people on Pinterest are just using Adsense banners and the like.

I'm going to let it keep running for a while as I have other projects I'm working on (two new journals popping up this week with details) but I should get some metrics soon on what is working well and what isn't. Overall, it's going well and I haven't had to do anything with it apart from taking 5 minutes to fix a small bug.

Some accounts do and some don't. I haven't dug into any metrics yet to really compare against the two. I don't think users really use hashtags themselves but including them in the description doesn't seem to hurt their exposure.

High time to get serious about Pinterest

I'm still not huge on it. There's a bunch of traffic but still plenty of testing to do and it's definitely niche limited compared to a network like IG. But free traffic is free traffic.

Averaging about 1,000 unique visits a day through to the site at the moment. Starting to update things a bit to speed things up and scale things smoother. There are a couple more changes I need to make to the repinning but for the most part, it's been pulling in consistent traffic while I've been working on other things. Not too shabby.

Which bot do you use? What the accounts do? Repin, follow?
I have lost a lot of accounts until I find the sweet spot for botting but I'm not sure this is the only way cause it's not so aggressive.

The traffic has stayed pretty consistent but I'm making some changes to try and increase it.

First of all I'm reducing the amount of pins I'm posting but increasing their repin count. It was working before, but I'm curious if this works better.

I've also finally finished removing my biggest bottleneck in the whole workflow so I can scale a lot faster than before.

Custom bot. They post, repin and follow depending on the account. So far I've really not had any problem with Pinterest. One wave of accounts lost which seems to be proxy related and my settings are relatively aggressive.

I'm guessing you're pinning stuff daily.
1. Do you pin to your own personal board or did you join any group boards?
2. If you're posting to group boards, how did you join them? I'm guessing you did not message each group owner, request access and wait for them to approve you-
3. What kind of description do you post to each pin? Or is it just a link to your site?

thanks for the answers, we're going to benefit from your help.

yea this is what maybe i miss out , my does get lots of impression but is the Clicks no much maybe I never join group board? aka like FB group to share? I never or didn't know pin interest got , how to join?

do you pin other big website posts to grow the boards?
how often do you post in your website? i mean you need new posts daily in order to pin right?
do you pin from all your accounts? or repin the main accounts post on other accounts?

Good progress, so did you get more traffic by reducing the amount of pins and increasing their repin count?

Created a bit of an issue tying this in with other projects it was getting a little insane so I had to redo part of it. Took some messing around but finally, we're running a lot smoother and with the bottleneck low enough to scale properly. One or two more changes to allow it to work better with the new Reddit project on the side but I'm hoping to have that squared away by tomorrow at some point.

Had a look through the analytics and the recent changes from a week or two ago (something like that - I'm losing track of time at the moment) are looking good. Traffic is steadily growing at the scale it's been at and after tomorrow and a good mug of coffee I should be able to take it to 10x the scale it's currently at within a few hours.

I've looked at group boards but I'm not convinced yet. You could automate the outreach to an extent or do it manually and it's certainly a chunk of traffic when your pin gets shared on a big board but not something I'm actively chasing at the moment.

Description varies based on the content type. Sometimes it's just about the site sometimes it's related to what's been posted.

Absolutely. You'll see Pinterest accounts with hundreds of thousands or even millions of views. But even pins with a clear call to action get a pretty low click through. It's still free traffic so I'm not turning it down but at the end of the day views on the pins don't matter. It's traffic to the site which gets you paid.

Yes, it automatically pins other peoples stuff to the boards as well. I run a bunch of automated sites I honestly couldn't even tell you how many posts a day but a lot. More than I'm currently posting to Pinterest.

I'm experimenting with repinning across multiple accounts. I've had too much on at once lately to make much headway on a proper test. But there are a lot more metrics for a pin than just repins.

Way too early to tell I'm afraid. Especially with the lower post rate it's probably a few weeks before I can really look at it.

I recently made account on pinterest but it's wired to me as well. Made few pins but ststs show 0 traffic. Dunno if I will sacrifice more time for that.

A competitor of mine had a couple of hundred domains with Adsense running on a much bigger scale than I am with... what I would say is a more black hat approach to this. (If this sounds like you drop me a PM).

I'll have to dig up the full account list but the ones I knew of the top of my head have been banned by the looks of it. Good news is less competition (at least for the moment). The bad news is it means I could get hit the same way once my accounts get to that size.

I'm not going to talk you into competing with me but a rough rule of thumb is that a few of anything is probably not going to get you conclusive results. Pinterest is definitely one of the most niche limited networks around though. The demographics are much more narrow than say IG.

I mean there is alpt of methods for success and everyone have to pick one. In my opinion it's not wise to do couple because everyone have 24 hours :) Maybe I will do pinterest but not at this moment. Especially it's not common in my country.
